ELLIE KELAART
Queensland Off-The-Track proudly introduces Ellie Kelaart as a QOTT Acknowledged Retrainer.
After competing successfully for over 25 years in showing, from local grassroots competitions to Grand Nationals, Ellie has dedicated her life to horses on both a personal and professional level. In 2017, Ellie established Elements Equestrian, a boutique riding school and equestrian centre located in Beaudesert, where Ellie provides horse riding lessons and professional retraining services on a full-time basis.
Retraining and rehoming retired racehorses has always been a passion for Ellie. With Ellie’s extensive background and experience within the equestrian and racing industries, combined with the established facilities at Elements Equestrian, Ellie is well equipped to provide retired racehorses with a great start to their lives off the track.
Passionate about placing retired racehorses into suitable, long-term homes, Ellie has worked with many trainers, owners and breeders that have enlisted her services to successfully retrain and rehome their racehorses upon retirement from the racetrack.
“Ultimately a wonderful forever home is what off the track horses deserve. I have the facilities to accommodate them and I am passionate about retraining retired racehorses before looking to rehome them into 5-star homes.”
Ellie is a member of the Show Horse Council and Equestrian Australia.
