LINDA SCHIEMER
Queensland Off-The-Track proudly introduces Linda Schiemer as a QOTT Acknowledged Retrainer.
Linda joins us with an exceptional skill set for supporting off the track horses. Not only has she worked as a track work rider and has 25 years eventing experience competing up to 2 star level, Linda is one of the owners and head Veterinarians at Nanango Veterinary Surgery and Bellevue Equine Reproduction and Spelling.
Retraining and rehoming off the track horses for 17 years, Linda has a good working relationship with many racing trainers, some of whom she met through her Veterinary Surgery. Linda has previously enjoyed great success with retraining and rehoming retired racehorses, using all the tools in her considerable skill set to give them the best chance at living a long and happy life post-racing. Linda looks forward to helping more Queensland racing owners and trainers find homes for their retired racehorses through the QOTT Acknowledged Retrainers Program.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association and Equine Veterinarians Australia.
