Queensland Off-The-Track proudly introduces Victoria Welch as a QOTT Acknowledged Retrainer.
Victoria joins the QOTT Acknowledged Retrainers Program with many achievements in the competitive world of Dressage – a true testament to her exceptional horsemanship skills. A small selection of Victoria’s major successes include producing five Grand Prix Dressage horses, winning a Gold Medal at the 2009 Youth Olympics and winning all three CDI-W Grand Prix classes at the 2017 Brisbane CDI. In 2021, Victoria qualified to represent Australia at the World Young Horse Championships.
Being a star Dressage trainer and competitor isn’t the only feather in Victoria’s cap. Hailing from a Queensland racing family, Victoria has had vast experience with thoroughbreds from yearling preparation and sales presentation, right through to racing, breeding and retraining.
“I believe that thoroughbreds can have a good life after racing and go on to become successful competitors, companions or pleasure horses. I’m excited about giving back to the horse industry by sharing my knowledge and skills as a QOTT Acknowledged Retrainer.”
Victoria has been riding since she was three years of age and in addition to her extensive dressage experience, she has also competed in showjumping and cross country.
An Equestrian Australia Level 2 Dressage Coach and also a QOTT Approved Coach, Victoria has been coaching for over 10 years. Victoria finds coaching very rewarding and she loves helping both horse and rider develop, sharing their journey and working towards achieving their goals.
