Country Club Asset Funding applications open

19 March 2026

Applications for the next round of Country Club Asset Funding are now open.

Now in its fourth year, the CCAF provides $3 million per year for infrastructure repairs, as well as maintenance and asset replenishment for the state’s country racing clubs.

The first three rounds of CCAF have seen a total of 147 projects across 68 clubs approved. Of those projects, 116 have been fully delivered, with the remaining 31 now in construction.

Additionally, the 2026 CCAF will see the introduction of a five-year capital expenditure plan to assist in the prioritisation of funding, which will deliver several benefits for country racing clubs.

Minister for Racing Tim Mander said the CCAF program was vital for country racing in Queensland.

“The Queensland racing industry is responsible for generating more than $2.5 billion in economic contribution to Queensland, with more than half directly benefitting regional economies,” Minister Mander said.

“Country Club Asset Funding delivers important upgrades and maintenance enhancements to our country clubs, which are the lifeblood of the industry across the Sunshine State.”

Recently completed CCAF projects include repairing and resurfacing the course proper at Jundah Race Club, new 12-stall starting gates at the Gympie Turf Club, outside running rail and patron fencing replacement at Esk Jockey Club, and a new Judges Facility at the Mt Isa Race Club.

Applications close April 13, 2026.

In addition, Tier 1, 2 and 3 clubs will again have the opportunity to apply for infrastructure funding to assist in repairs and maintenance, along with asset replenishment and replacement, through Racing Queensland’s asset management framework.
