RACE TWO

STINGER LINDENNY (5) will take great benefit from his latest start in what has been an interrupted campaign. After 2 starts back in November after arriving in Qld, he was sent for a let-up and returned here last week. Setting in the running line from a 2nd line gate, he was strong to the line to be 2m in arrears of the winner. Despite a sticky gate, he can capitalise.

GOLIGHTLY (7) will strip fitter from his latest outing when 2nd up from a spell. That was on the grass at Kilcoy where he was sent straight to the front and once in control was never in danger to claim a 5m victory. It did not really work out at his 1st up run and despite the terrible gate, he can still challenge in this.

DENNINGTON HEIGHTS (1) did not have the speed to get to the pegs last start and was exposed for a brief period before receiving cover but was no match as WILL THE WIZARD scored a strong win. From the gate, he will get his chance to dictate and be gripping on.

MONTANA LAD (8) also brings the grass track form from Kilcoy after his last start victory.  Finishing best to claim the prize, it followed a down the line effort at Redcliffe when snagging back from a wide gate. With a soft trip in behind the speed, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: STINGER LINDENNY (5), GOLIGHTLY (7), DENNINGTON HEIGHTS (1), MONTANA LAD (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-7-8

RACE THREE

SCOTCH EN ICE (10)
was facing a task last start from gate 5 with the leader and winner BOOMCHUCKALUCKA dealing out in front. Not that far away under the circumstances, it followed a griding 2nd from the breeze when 3m in arrears after working hard in the run. Securing the right run-in transit, he looks to get his chance here.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (2) eased from gate 6 last time out and from the rear the task was too great with BOOMCHUCKALUCKA out in front. Placed in his previous 2 in succession, he chased from 3 back against the markers for the bronze behind SUNNY RICE and with good early speed can fire the early bullets here.

DELIGHTFUL REASON (8) did it the tough way last start, rolling the sleeves to race first over and repel any cover. Fighting hard, she could not see it out when 8m from the winner. Needing a slice of luck from this alley as she looks to get buried, she will be probing.

BLUE SHARD (5) is never too far away from the action and last start was soon pinned down against the poles from inside the 2nd line. Trying to chase from the 2nd line the start prior, he can be thereabouts once again.

SELECTIONS: SCOTCH EN ICE (10), THE RAGNBONE MAN (2), DELIGHTFUL REASON (8), BLUE SHARD (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SCOTCH EN ICE (10) to win

RACE FOUR

The capacity field makes this a tricky contest with tempo and positions sorting a few of these out over the longer trip of the 2138m. Super consistent here at The Creek, FLAME LADY (2) has hit the board in 11 of her 12 appearances that include a pair of wins. Gunned down last start when setting the tempo over this trip, she has found conditions where she gets a chance to cash-in.

ONYA DOUG (12) should be close to full fitness after 3 runs back from a spell, the latest when he had no luck at all in finding open road. Back in the pack from gate 4, he was probing for a way clear that never arrived in time. Landing gate 7 to effectively end his chances at his 1st 2 runs back, the gate again is a stinger, but he can make a challenge.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (4) took on a mares qualifier last start when settling at the rear of the small field before trying to take some closing metres off the winner A RAINBOW DELIGHT. The 2138m is the query with her, but she can feature.

COBBLER LANE (9) will take benefit from his latest outing when resuming from a spell. Settling in the running line, he was sound to the line behind COOL AND CALCULATING. In this line-up he stays in the mix.

SELECTIONS: FLAME LADY (2), ONYA DOUG (12), MAFFIOSO GIRL (4), COBBLER LANE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: FLAME LADY (2) to win

RACE FIVE

PARAVANI (3)
rolled forward from this gate last week before taking the 1x1 trail as KEY LARGO controlled the terms in front. Looking to make a closing offering, he just missed the money when 4.5m in arrears of the winner. Only 1m away the start prior when looking to take them all the way, he can secure a forward position and looks to get his chance in this.

ETERNAL PROMISE (9) will be tightened from her latest start when resuming from a spell. Tackling a mares only event, she retreated from gate 6 to find the pegs before really attacking the line strongly to be within 5m of the winner JIGGLE AND JIVE. Her 2 runs prior to the break were in strong mare only races and tucked in behind the speed will be finishing hard.

MUCH BETTOR (4) settled in the running line from a 2nd line gate last time out and was 6m in arrears of the winner MAYWYNS COURAGE. Forced to race tough the start prior over the Redcliffe 2040m trip, he was in for the fight when grinding out 1.5m margin to BEE GEES BANDIT. He is in the mix.

CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (8) will be requiring a slice of luck from this alley but if the gaps should happen to open in time, can be in the closing rally. Fresh since his last start when finishing hard to be 4m from the winner ROCKNROLL CLASSIC, he will be charging home.

SELECTIONS: PARAVANI (3), ETERNAL PROMISE (9), MUCH BETTOR (4), CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PARAVANI (3) to win

RACE SIX

AT WEST POINT (2)
was beaten by the inside 2nd line gate last start and buried in the run was always going to be facing a task with the power on in front. 2 starts back he scored his 1st win this campaign when showing his customary power in front to lead them all the way. He can look to dictate to them here.

SAM IS PERFECTION (10) started fav last start over the 2138m trip when looking to make a wide and sweeping run to launch his bid. Closing out hard to be just a half-neck in arrears of the winner, it followed a luckless effort when pinned down against the poles as KINGOFTHESTARS arrived. With a solid tempo he can be finishing hard to challenge.

CLASSIE AMERICAN (1) has been to the track twice since returning from a spell, the latest a disappointing effort when tailing them in. That was a stronger contest where he could not sustain the tempo in front over the 2138m and with a softer trip can be sharper back to the mile.

SMITHSTARS LEXUS (7) receives his stock-standard bad alley once again, a feature of his recent outings. Closing strongly from back in the pack when wide out last start to be within 1.5m of the winner, he can be closing hard again.

SELECTIONS: AT WEST POINT (2), SAM IS PERFECTION (10), CLASSIE AMERICAN (1), SMITHSTARS LEXUS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: AT WEST POINT (2) to win
