Race 1: QUALITY STEEL FABRICATIONS & ENGINEERING P/L CLASS 2 PLATE 1000m
 
SENSEOFWONDER - Fractious in the barriers. Jumped awkwardly and then attempted to buck for a short distance. Trainer K. Krogh was advised the mare must trial satisfactorily prior to being permitted to again start in a race.
 
ACE LIGHTNING - Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.
 
MOLONGLE MAGIC - Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.
 
SONIC SWISH - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
SAFDIE - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

PALM SPRINGS – Rider J. Babarovich reported the gelding resented the kickback in running and was inclined to hang out from the 800m. 
 
Race 2: RISING SUN HONDA CLASS 6 PLATE 1200m
 
MARTIAL ART - Jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.  Held up rounding the home turn. 
 
DUTCH COURAGE - Raced wide for the majority. 
 
SCARLET JANE - Raced wide for the majority. 
 
Race 3: HASTINGS DEERING QTIS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1200m 
 
WICKED INVESTMENT - Late scratching at 12.35pm as no rider was available. 
 
GENERAL SIDEREUS – Reluctant to load. Raced wide for the majority. 
 
FINE FERGUS - Fractious in the barriers. 
 
MY CRIMSON LAD - Jumped awkwardly bumping with another runner.
 
MANDALONG PASS - Bumped by another runner on jumping.  Raced wide for the majority.
 
ECHELON ROSE - Jumped outwards at the start bumping another runner.  Restrained near the 250m to avoid the heels of another runner which shifted in.
 
ABBA ORIGINAL - Bumped with another runner on jumping. 
 
WATTO’S JET – Rider S. Galvin reported that his saddle shifted passing the 800m placing him at a disadvantage for the remainder of the event. 
 
CRAIGLEA ODYSSEY - Shifted in near the 250m hampering another runner. Rider J. Esser was reprimanded for careless riding AR 137(a).
 
Race 4: COLEMAN'S STOCK FEEDS BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1400m
 
DUBLEO’S LAD – Shifted outwards on jumping and bumped with another runner. 
 
SPORTS TYCOON - Bumped by another runner on jumping.Raced wide rounding the 800m turn. 
 
CRYSTAL BEAR - Jumped outwards and bumped with another runner. 
 
DENLAGO - Bumped by another runner on jumping.
 
CEDEE PRINCE – Shifted outwards soon after the start hampering another runner. 
 
HOT PROSPECT – Hampered by another runner soon after the start.       
 
OAKFIELD SUNSET - Raced wide in the middle stages. 
 
DIAMOND RACER - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

LAGER - Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.
 
DUBLEO’S LAD - Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.  
 
DIAMOND RACER - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
HIDONAL - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
Race 5: RABOBANK 2018 OUTBACK RACING SHOWCASE OPEN HANDICAP - FINAL 1400m
 
HOLEY GADOLEY- Rider T. Brummell who was dislodged on the way to the start declared himself free of injury. The gelding was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
TWO OF A KIND – As there was no available rider at the gelding’s allotted weight Stewards permitted J. Esser to ride two and a half kilograms overweight. 
 
NIGHT WOLF - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
TARGET STRIKE (NZ) - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
