LADBROKES TOP 2/3/4 BETTING UP TO NR75 FINAL 1660m
Race detailsSent hard off the arm from gate 5 in his heat for this final, BELLISIMO ACQUISTO (1) set a sizzling tempo after a 54.6 opening half. Only collared in the closing strides when holding 2nd, he secures all the options here and with the chance of a soft trip on tempo, can capitalise.
COTCHINELLIE (5) is low-flying since arriving in Qld and last start completed a hat-trick of victories. With wins in 51.5 and 51.2 at the mile, he had no right to fend them off last start at 2138. If he can find top here, it will be a big mile to reel him in.
SEASIDE GLORY (3) was building towards a win and cashed in against qualifying company mares here last week from the front. Runner-up both starts prior, she is a podium chance again.
STRIKEM (7) backs up from Tues where he was runner-up to FATE AWAITS over 2647 after releasing the winner and chasing in a 26.4 close out. The gate does him no favours at all.SELECTIONS: BELLISIMO ACQUISTO (1), COTCHINELLIE (5), SEASIDE GLORY (3), STRIKEM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BELLISIMO ACQUISTO (1) to win -

RACING & SPORTS.COM BAND 5 PACE 2138m
Race detailsSecond up from a spell last week, CHARGE AHEAD (9) eased from gate 5 searching for position and was soon settled at the rear of the field. Never getting warm and angled back to the inside and hitting dead ends, his last 800 was still smart despite never factoring. Out to 2138 for the first time this prep, he can strike.
BUDDY PERFECT (11) made full use of gate 1 here last week, burrowing through to hold them wide over this trip and from the front, fended off the challengers to take the W. Placed in both prior attempts when hitting the line strongly, a right cart into the contest can see him challenge.
CREDULOUS (1) worked to the front last start before opting for cover and then using the passing lane darted through to arrive for the prize. Similar tactics here can see her feature.
OZZIE PUNTA (5) was strong to the line over the mile last week when running the winner COOL NIGHT to a 1m margin. Producing a slick closing 800 in that effort, he can be joining in again.SELECTIONS: CHARGE AHEAD (9), BUDDY PERFECT (11), CREDULOUS (1), OZZIE PUNTA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CHARGE AHEAD (9) to win -

LEADING EDGE SECURITY UP TO NR75 CONSOLATION 1660m
Race detailsWith second line gates at his past three in succession, the improved marble will boost the chances of AMAMI (1) turning his fortunes. Buried last start and not aided by a flat tyre when midfield to SIR RICHARD LEE, he can do enough from this gate to capitalise.
TEDDY TURPIN (4) is still chasing the first win for 2026 after placing in two of seven. Holding on for bronze behind MOONSHINER two starts back, he finished midfield last start after being locked away from inside the second line. Positioning cheaply will be key to his chances.
XPRESS PARTY (5) never saw space last time out behind SIR RICHARD LEE which had followed a last placing when striking trouble in the run. Getting forward here can see him turn it around.
FIRE RAISER (6) held the trail last week and following the speed held on for the silver behind PATH TO GREATNESS. The gate makes it tougher, but any tempo will assist his podium claims.SELECTIONS: AMAMI (1), TEDDY TURPIN (4), XPRESS PARTY (5), FIRE RAISER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: AMAMI (1) to win -

OUTKAST NATIONAL DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION OPEN PACE 2138m
Race detailsBrisbane racing fans are in for an unexpected treat as LEAP TO FAME (1) has just his second local start for the season. Claiming a second Miracle Mile just 14 days back, victory will see him move into the top 5 all-time Albion Park winners as he lines up for the 50th time on his home deck. Sit back and enjoy pacing perfection.
DISTRICT ATTORNEY (8) is one of very few horses to get past LEAP TO FAME, and although that was almost two years back, can he repeat that upset? Drawn to get the fence trip where he excels, he can be stalking the speed and awaiting the gap to mount some form of challenge.
FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (7) produced a sizzling 52.65 individual last 800m section here last week when chasing home CHEERSTOLOU for the bronze. Stung by the gate, he can try to chime in.

KIDS EAT FREE - LAST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH JUNIOR FFA 1660m
Race detailsFinishing runner-up here last week after starting from gate 7, ATTACHMENT (5) will move two spots closer for this week. Runner-up at his past three in succession, he snagged to the rear last week before looking for gaps and producing some insane closing splits at 2138. He can go one better.
WHOS DELIGHT (9) was chasing a hat-trick of wins last time out when forced to sit parked at 2138. With the race developing into a last half showdown, he faded late as the leader and winner closed it out in 54.1. Arriving along the passing lane two back, he can challenge here.
BIGGER THE BETTOR (2) dictated from the front two starts back in scoring over 2138. With two months off the scene, he was fresh up here last week chasing home DASHING and with added fitness is a podium hope here.
CONGO LINE (4) appreciated a slight drop in grade last time out and had the closing speed to drop on them and post a 2m margin. Settling handy will be the key to his chances.SELECTIONS: ATTACHMENT (5), WHOS DELIGHT (9), BIGGER THE BETTOR (2), CONGO LINE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ATTACHMENT (5) to win -

SELECTIVE MOTORS ALBION QUALIFYING PACE 1660m
Race detailsNot much has been in favour of APPLIED (1) in five runs this campaign, the latest when faced with a second-line gate as PATH TO GREATNESS was able to dictate in front. Sitting parked for that assignment, he was runner-up the previous three. Early speed might be the concern, but he is knocking on the door.
TYSON (8) will be relying on the 1 holding the front and allowing him first shot on the passing lane. Taking them all the way last start in a midweek standing start contest, he was runner-up in both prior starts since arriving in Qld. If the gaps arrive in time, he can land the knockout.
MIKIS JOE (3) has made good metres in the latter stages in both of his past two starts, the latest when running BUDDY PERFECT to a neck. Settling handy can see him feature.
ROCK HAMMER (4) dictated from the front end at the mile two starts back and last time was beaten by a wide gate as PATH TO GREATNESS controlled from the front. He is a podium hope.SELECTIONS: APPLIED (1), TYSON (8), MIKIS JOE (3), ROCK HAMMER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: -

PRYDE'S EASIFEED EASIPERFORMANCE TROTTERS DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP 2138m
Race detailsMaking a great start from the 10m tape here last week, NOT AS PROMISED (8) was in front before they reached the back straight on the first occasion and from the front was never in danger. With a tremendous record here at The Creek, he can roll forward and chase another W.
GOLDEN SUNSET (9) was giving NOT AS PROMISED 10m start here last week and chased hard over the closing stages to be 7m in arrears when holding on for the silver. Meeting on equal marks this week will assist her chances and after finishing 2nd at her past three in succession, can challenge again.
ZEALOUS SPUR (6) will appreciate the 10m gap he secures this week after starting on equal marks as NOT AS PROMISED last week. Sliding up to work in the latter stages, if he can stay ahead of the main dangers, he can capitalise.
MAJESTIC LAVROS (4) will take further benefit from the latest outing when second up from a spell. Safely away before releasing for the trail, he held on for the bronze and can feature again.SELECTIONS: NOT AS PROMISED (8), GOLDEN SUNSET (9), ZEALOUS SPUR (6), MAJESTIC LAVROS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: NOT AS PROMISED (8) to win -

GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND MARES OPEN PACE 1660m
Race detailsAfter finishing 2025 in a flurry, not much has gone in the favour of TREMENDOUS SENSATION (4) since she returned from a let up in 2026. Chasing in vain as LUX AETERNA dictated in front last time, the start prior she was making good metres in the closing stages wide off the track. This looks like it could be within reach.
DAISY DIANA (7) faced a wide gate last start when sliding across to secure 1x1 cover and was holding ground to the wire behind ILOVEACALENDARGIRL. Dictating in front the start prior, the gate makes it another tough ask, but she can press forward to issue the challenge.
IMA QUEEN BEE (1) was a winner five starts back when finding the front and taking them all the way. Stung by bad draws at her past three, the improved gate can see her turn the fortunes.
SERGIOS ROCKET (8) has not been far away at each of her past two starts when just behind the money. Placed her previous five in succession, she will be probing for space from this gate.SELECTIONS: TREMENDOUS SENSATION (4), DAISY DIANA (7), IMA QUEEN BEE (1), SERGIOS ROCKET (8)
SUGGESTED BET: TREMENDOUS SENSATION (4) to win -
9
LUNCHBOX LODGE SPELLING FARM MARES QUALIFYING PACE 2138m
Race detailsA tough mare’s event to close the card with a tricky map to line up. LULLABY (3) has placed in her past three, the latest when forced to work outside the leader and holding on for the bronze behind SEASIDE GLORY. A gritty 2nd behind SENSATIONALIZE the start prior, she can cash in.
TOUGH SHAZ (6) was locked away last start and battled on to finish midfield behind SENSATINALIZE. That followed successive barrier 7 appearances including chasing home the flying ILOVEACALENDARGIRL. Despite another tough gate, she can issue a challenge.
FEAR THE PAIN (8) has the second line options and lines up here after finishing runner-up in two of her past three. Chasing home SEASIDE GLORY from the trail last week, she is in the mix.
MAID OF MONEY (2) should be better suited second up after facing outside the second line when first up for the new stable and from a spell without a trial. A winner in her previous three, the gate helps.SELECTIONS: LULLABY (3), TOUGH SHAZ (6), FEAR THE PAIN (8), MAID OF MONEY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: LULLABY (3) to win
