RACE 1 

OPALLANE (5) led easily last start after showing very good gate speed early. He was seemingly a touch disappointing being run down late by Stay Dreamy after having things his own way in the run. He is likely to lead again and should be hard to run down being fitter second up. 

DOUG STEWART (1) drew poorly last start at Marburg outside the back row and was running on strongly late into second behind Wee Bonnie.  He draws well this time and should secure a good run just behind the speed. 

MACK ATTACK (3) was first up from a spell last start when running on nicely late into third in behind Stay Dreamy and Opallane. He should be close enough again in this small field and should be running on well second up. 

ROCKN SAM (4) was quite impressive on debut when scoring nicely showing a good turn of foot. He hasn’t started since and has a had a number of trials where he hasn’t quite produced the same efforts that saw him win nicely on debut.

RACE 2 

ZORBA DAN (6) did some work last start to find the lead before controlling things and seemingly having his chance to win. He finds a similar type of race again and if he has derived benefit from his effort on debut he should be hard to beat. 

OUR ULTIMATE BEATY (7) returns from a spell in this race and draws to have options being the only horse off the back row. He ran a number of good races last time and should be hard to beat in this race. 

SIX SEVEN (3) has good gate speed and might be able to press forward and race in a prominent position. He led five starts ago and ran a good race when finishing second. He should run well again.

TONJAY (4) ran well in his latest trial when getting back and hitting the line nicely late wide on the track. He draws a touch awkwardly in this race and may be shuffled back but should be running on.

RACE 3

PICCOLO DIAVOLO (4) trialled well recently at Albion Park appearing to hit the line nicely late. He impressed in his last start before a spell scoring a nice win at this track when sweeping over the top late to score. He should run well first up.

FOURTY ONE GEE (2) returns from a spell without a trial. He won last time in having his first run for his new stable before running well again at Redcliffe. He has gate speed and draws best of the main chances in this race. 

HEZA DIRTY DANCER (8) should get a good run in this race early and will have the option of working up to race on speed when the speed slackens. He was able to score a huge recent win when racing without cover and proving too good. 

PERFECT LOU (3) put in a better run last start when winning having secured the perfect run on the leaders back. He is likely to need to step up again in this race.

RACE 4 

MULLUM JUDITH (8) put in a very impressive run last start when securing a good run just off the speed and running on strongly to score a dominant win. She should secure a similarly economical run in the early stages of this race and will be running on well.

PINKCHAMPAGNE (1) has good gate speed and may elect to drive through and lead this race from the good draw. She trialled quite well for a race of this nature running home reasonable sectionals. She is likely to be fitter for her recent trial and should run well. 

SHES MY MISTAKE (6) was severely checked last start at this track when looming into the race strongly. She should get a similar type of run off the speed in this race and if its run to suit she should be running on strongly. 

THATS OUR BOY (8) has impressed in recent outings. He secured a good run off the speed two starts ago and finished best to score a good win in fast time for restricted win company.

RACE 5

GOOD WORD THAT (4) didn’t have the best luck last time out when getting shuffled back before not getting the clearest passage through late. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and can be running on late. 

VODKA EN ICE (5) was finishing off well last start in a race taken out by Diamond Deano at this track. He seemingly had his chance to win that race given the last quarter was a moderate 30.9. He should get a similar run off the speed and can be running on late. 

MAJOR LINCOLN (8) went around in a heat of the trot rods last start and ran well there when finishing off strongly behind Connies Spirit. He looks to draw well in this race behind a gate speed horse and he should be running on well again.

TOMMY BLIGH (9) had little luck in a heat of the trot rods last start when caught wide throughout. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and if the race is run to suit he should be running on well.

SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR LINCOLN (8) to win.

RACE 6 

ROCK HAMMER (3) draws best of the main chances in this race and can look to press forward and find the lead. His latest win came when leading at Albion Park and rating good time there. If he can lead he would be hard to beat. 

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (5) has an awkward draw in this race and comes into it first up. He ran well in his latest start when finishing 14.7 metres off Mullum Hank after getting back in the run early. He will need a few things to go his way.

CALLING BUDDY (6) returned to form three starts ago when running over the top of Gleneagle Vee Cee to score. He should secure a similar type of run off the speed in this race and if the race is run to suit he should run well.

LETHAL LOUIE (2) trialled up reasonably recently when well beaten by Ideal Bronski who rated very fast time at Redcliffe. He is likely to have derived benefit from the outing and if he can secure the right run in this race he has each way claims.

RACE 7

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (3) has the key draw advantage on some of his main rivals in this race and can look to maintain that in the early stages. He led before handing over to in form mare Oakley Shard last start and was able to run third there. He should be hard to beat. 

ART JESTER (1) is a long way back in grade form some of his better efforts. He showed he might be on the improve first up when running fourth before securing a good run at Marburg and finishing third. He comes into this race third up and with a similar run could figure again.

BONNIES CAM (4) has excellent early speed and showed that in recent starts but just hasn’t quite been able to get across to the lead. He is versatile in this type of grade and could use his high speed to run on late given his awkward draw. 

CEDAR CREEK FALLS (6) comes into this race first up from a spell and draws poorly. She is a horse with high speed and if the race is run to suit she should be running into it late.

RACE 8

DOCTA FEELGOOD (2) is a very good front runner and has continued to run good races this campaign when able to lead. He led two starts ago and proved too good there for a similar type of field. He should lead and be hard to run down. 

IDEAL ASSASSIN (4) has good gate speed but does draw outside a number of fast beginners in this race. She was able to secure a good run last start and ran a solid second there which followed a good fifth at Albion Park 

CANADIAN LASS (4) has been racing in good form having scored back to back wins before finishing ninth last time out. She draws poorly in this race and is likely to need to work at some stage but should still run well. 

OHANA DANCER (6) steps back in grade from stronger mares company into this race. She finished a solid fourth last time out behind Tough Shaz beating home classy mare Cheer Leader.
