BLITZBURG having first start for a new trainer. Should race on the speed and drops 2kg from last run. One of the main hopes.

    DOMINANT DARCY winner of last two at Doomben. Likely to race on the speed. Clearly the one to beat. ZOUFANI has a lot of early speed and rates well in these conditions. Well placed. SPIETHTACULAR has a lot of early speed and in strong form with two wins from six attempts this campaign. Leading hope. AMUSEANTES likes the cut in the ground and won once this prep at Doomben five runs back. Serious player.

ROCK HARD LOVE likes the cut in the ground and won once this prep at Gold Coast five runs back. Hard to hold out. ABSOLUTE SUNSHINE has won one of three on a softer track and won once this prep at Gold Coast four runs back. Cannot rule out.

    SULTRY SIREN placed last start at Eagle Farm on a soft track and keep an eye on a Robert Heathcote trained horse. Rates highly with Taylor Marshall retaining the reins. Go well. RHAPSODY CHIC drawn the widest barrier and likely to race off the speed. Expected to be a contender. MIDNIGHT DRIFTER winner despite being unwanted in the betting last start at Sunshine Coast on a soft track when first up and has run well on a softer track. Decent form last prep with two wins from seven runs. Go well. BOOM SHOT placed in first start this prep at metro level and came on to finish midfield last start at Doomben. A Tony Gollan trained horse. Can figure.

    WANDA ROX came on strong in the end to win last start at Eagle Farm and in strong form with two wins from four attempts this campaign at metro level. Has won two of five on a softer track. Hard to hold out. POWER OF THE BRAVE can't knock the form with three wins from eight attempts this campaign at metro level and has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. Won't be far away in the run. Solid claims. TALTARNI FIELDS will appreciate the cut in the ground. Has shown early speed in races to date. Hard to beat.

BETTER BLITZEM in outstanding form winning all runs to date and led all the way to win last start at Townsville on a soft track. Capable of racing on speed. Must respect. FINAL CRUSADE only just missed at only start, finishing a nose back from the winner at Eagle Farm and expect to lead/box seat having drawn the rails. Ryan Maloney rides yet again for Tony Gollan. Confident will go close.
