SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT
Race 1: ARAMAC RTC CLASS B HANDICAP 800 METRES. 8 STARTERS.
1st – EXONERATED 2nd – LORD SUTCH 3rd – OUR BALLET DANCER 4th – MAJURA MISS
MAJURA MISS (Rhett Bellert) was fidgety in the Barrier sustaining a cut to the mouth as a result.
VERSA VICE (Clayton Schumacher) was slow away.
BIRDSVILLE BOUND (App. Paddy Carroll) was slow away.
MAJURA MISS (Rhett Bellert) hung out at about the 200M.mark.
Race 2: BARCALDINE REGIONAL COUNCIL CLASS 3 PLATE. 1000 METRES. 11 STARTERS.
1st – KNOWN PROSPECT 2nd – LEAVING HOME 3rd – BEGUILING START 4th – BAYSTAR STAR
LEAVING HOME (Peter Spry) pulled up lame in the off front. Trainer Kevin Birse was advised that the gelding required a Veterinary certificate for soundness prior to next start.
Race 3: BANK OF QUEENSLAND QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000 METRES.
11 STARTERS.
1st – BI QUALO 2nd – ZEDZED 3rd – SO NOT FUNNY 4th – DUBAI TOWN
Starter Mr L Lewis was instructed by Stewards to load SO NOT FUNNY (Bret Calkin) first so as to avoid any delay to the start. The gelding was difficult to load.
PICCOLO’S GOLD (NZ) David Monaghan was slow into stride.
DUBAI TOWN (Robert Faehr) tended to hang out at about the 450M.mark inconveniencing SUPREMATIVE (Dot Slack-Smith)at that stage.
DUBAI TOWN shifted out onto SUPREMATIVE (Dot Slack-Smith) at about the 200M.mark. Inquiry into the incident resulted in Stewards being satisfied that Jockey Robert Faehr had taken sufficient effort to correct the gelding and no further action was taken.
SO NOT FUNNY (Bret Calkin) tended to run about at the 250M.mark.
Race 4: JEFF DOLGNER OPEN HANDICAP 1200 METRES. 10 STARTERS.
1st – GUDUNOV 2nd – SAMURAI SPIRIT 3rd – ROYAL CHARIOT 4th – BILLIGABOO
EQUITANT was withdrawn as a starter at 3.35PM on Veterinary advice.
SAMURAI SPIRIT (Robert Faehr) was fractious in the Barrier.
Betting deductions were announced prior to correct weight.
Race 5: QUEENSLAND COUNTRY RACINGMATILDA HIGHWAY CLASS 6 PLATE. 1400 METRES. 11 STARTERS.
