WEATHER – OVERCAST TRACK:-GOOD RAIL –TRUE


RACE 1: QTIC MAIDEN PLATE – 1000 Metres – 7 Starters

Jockey Ron Ryan was indisposed and was replaced on SOLOMEO by D Crossland.
PRINCE HAVARTI was slow into galloping action. MOVE EASY (G Porter) ran off at the 400 metres and came into contact with prince havarti. A Protest was lodged by 3rd place getter CAPE ROCKET (I Toward) against 2nd place getter SOLOMEO alleging interference on the home corner – DISMISSED.

RACE 2: CLASS B HANDICAP – 1200 Metres – 8 Starters

Jockey Ron Ryan was replaced on PHORCYS by D Crossland. Jockey L Nelson was replaced on ROSE OF ROYALTY by D Dean. ALPHARANTO was marginally slow into galloping action, before travelling very wide throughout tand finished strongly.

RACE 3: CLASS 4 HANDICAP – 1400 Metres – 5 Starters

RAW KING pulled very hard in the early stages before bleeding from both nostrils, the papers of RAW KING were endorsed accordingly under AR 53A.

RACE 4: OPEN HANDICAP – 1400 Metres – 4 Starters

Stake money was amended from $4000 to $5000 for this race as per the Racing Magazine. Jockey I Toward replaced R Ryan on BLACKLOCK. REGAL PUNCH held well together by App K Penrose won in a fast time.
