At the start Tomislav (D. Philpot) was inconvenienced when tightened between Pale Agenda (K. Rockett), and Crestar (T. Fujinuma), both of which shifted ground.

At approximately the 700m Alittlebitofbubbly (S. Kaya) shifted in slightly, causing Tomislav (D. Philpot) being steadied. At a subsequent inquiry Jockey S. Kaya was severely reprimanded for careless riding.

When K. Rockett was to be overweight, and no other rider was available, permission was given for him to ride Pale Agenda half a kilogram overweight. Jockey K. Rockett was fined $50 under AR120(b) for being overweight.

1st -Taunus 2nd -Zivador 3rd –Special Woman 4th – Brave the Boss

Special Woman (S. Kaya) was slow into stride.

Taunus (C. Eaton) hung out over the concluding stages of the race.

Race 3: QRX The Transport People Class 6 Plate 1100- m
1st – Hostility 2nd -Montgresin 3rd – Jacobs Trick 4th – More Than Regal

Approaching the 400m He Wears The Crown (I. Toward) began to over race and had to be eased.

Race 4:Tolga Hotel Open Handicap 1000 - m
1st –Lucipality 2nd - Piraeus 3rd –Pure Silence 4th –Hobson’s Choice

Edgewana (C. Eaton) was slow into stride.

Race 5: Queensland Country Racing/Coca Cola Reef ‘N’ Rainforest CL 3 Plate 1200 - m
