Race1: INSPIRATIONS PAINT & COLOUR CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1200 M

ON THE ROCKS (J Kuskopf) was a late scratching by stewards at 1:05 pm when it failed to load in the barriers.

SOLIDIFY (I Toward) was also a late scratching by the vet at 1:08 pm when it reared in the barriers and got its front leg over the rail.

The trainer of ON THE ROCKS was advised by the stewards that the horse would be barred from racing and must retrial to the Stewards satisfaction and that a further warning was also placed on the horse because of its behaviour in the mounting enclosure.

The trainer of SOLIDIFY Mr. G Wehlow was also notified that a warning was also placed on his horse for barrier manners.

After the race stewards ordered that all monies invested on ON THE ROCKS and SOLIDIFY be refunded and for bets placed before 1:05 pm deductions were win 42cents & place 31 cents. Furthermore bets placed between 1: 05 pm & 1:08 pm to be paid less win 35cents place22 cents.

After the race and after viewing the film of the race jockey Jamie Dickinson (LIL RED MONKEY) who finished fourth lodged a protest against the third horse BIG JAY BE. After taking evidence from both jockeys and viewing the film stewards decided to dismiss the protest and declared correct weight on the judge’s original numbers.

Jockey Jeffrey Felix received a caution regarding his ride down the straight

MENDEZ (M Atkinson) & LIL’ RED MONKEY came together at the start and inconvenienced TOWSER (Lee Smith).

Race 2 :JOHN COLE TOYOTA BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1400 M
1st –Caravan Sang 2nd - Ottana 3rd – Cyclone Larry 4th – Twentysixbe

CARAVAN SANG dwelt slightly at the start.

TWENTYSIXBE made the home corner wide.

Race 3 :BRIAN MCINTYRE QTIS MAIDEN HANDICAP 1000 M
1st -Hetty 2nd –Kana Aka 3rd – Christmas Vampire 4th – La Lionesse

MISS KNIEVEL (I Toward) jumped out at the start and HETTY (R Ryan) jumped in hindering KANA AKA (L Smith).

LOVE FROM LYNDI (M Elliott) hung from the 650m.

Race 4 :TABLELAND RESPITE CARE CLASS B HANDICAP 1100 M
1st –Love That Dragon 2nd –Will He Fly 3rd –Manalute 4th –Bighorn

BONGIORNO (L Smith) jumped in onto FASCIA (J Kuskopf) at the start.

MANALUTE (N Yadi) reared out of the starting gates and was slow into stride.

WILL HE FLY (S Kaya) raced wide rounding the 700m corner and in the home straight.

Race 5 :TOLGA HOTEL OPEN HANDICAP 1100 M
1st - Balustrade 2nd –Bob And Dolly 3rd –Seafight 4th –Discarded Bullet

THE TAKE (M Atkinson) slipped at the start

BEURRE (S Pawsey) and SEAFIGHT (L Smith) travelled wide rounding the home turn.
