WEATHER – FINE TRACK – DIRT


RACE 1: AYLWARDS FOUR SQUARE CLASS 1 H'CAP – 800M.

GRESETA STAR was slow to begin.

SUMMER SHADOW jumped in at the start.

SILVER TOUCH hung out making the first turn, inconveniencing BUCKLERS HARD.

BUCKLERS HARD made the home turn wide and then began to hang in down the straight.

RACE 2: STEVE GODSELL LIVESTOCK TRANSPORT MAIDEN H'CAP – 1000M.

CROAT RED and DANZAMINK broke through the barriers and were quickly restrained.

CROAT RED again broke through the barrier just prior to the rest of the field being released. All runners were restrained and after a veterinary inspection, were past fit to start.

IL PALIO stood as the gates were released and lost considerable ground. Both CROAT RED and IL PALIOS’ connections were informed a barrier test certificate would be required prior to next start.

MISS ERUPTION was slowly into stride and was reluctant to race up into the dust.

RACE 3: ELLANGOWAN HOTEL CLASS 4 H'CAP – 1000M.

EBONY CRYSTAL blundered at the start.

Making the first turn BEATS ME, which had been forced to race in restricted room, when eased has hung out across the heels of EBONY CRYSTAL and has made heavy contact with RAW AND RACY.

SUGARS was forced to ease at the 600m when BEATS ME has shifted back to the fence.

RACE 4: MATILDA HIGHWAY MEAT ANT CUP OPEN H'CAP – 1200M.

CHINA CONSUL blundered on jumping and was slowly away.

REDACHI was reluctant to race up into the dust and raced extremely wide on the turn and down to straight.

RACE 5: FIELDS AND FRAZER PRODUCE CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1200M.

RAW STAR jumped out at the start forcing ARKY BLU out onto HOT TYCOON which had to be eased off the heels of ASMADAS.

RAW STAR rolled out at the 700m making minor contact with ARKY BLU.

Over the concluding stages ASMADAS shifted out making contact with ARKY BLU.

When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of HOT TYCOON Apprentice C Bryen stated that after being bumped at the start his mount refused to settle and raced ungenerously throughout the event. A veterinary inspection of HOT TYCOON after the event failed to reveale any abnormalities.

RACE 6: GALWAYS CLEANING CLASS 6 H'CAP – 1300M.

MY SWEET DARLING was slow to begin.

UNOZOFF jumped in at the start and hung out making the turn.

ALL WINNERS WERE SWABBED.
