RACE 1: MAIDEN H'CAP – 12000m
NKALA COUNTY scratched at 7.55am following a track mishap.

RACE 2: CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1100m
An enquiry was held into an incident on the home turn in which LOTUS BIRD shifted in sharply causing DEVIL ACTION to change course and FRESCILLE to be eased. O Galea, rider of LOTUS BIRD stated that he wasn’t aware that he has shifted ground so sharply. He was issued with a reprimand and told that his evidence at the enquiry left a lot to be desired.

RACE 3: CLASS 4 H'CAP – 1300m
LORD OF THE BLUES (NZ) slowly away.

RACE 4: OPEN H’cap - 1000m
Connections of second placed SUBJUDE requested a viewing of the video prior to correct weight. No objection was forthcoming.
An enquiry was held into a tightening to VALPECULAR at about the 100m. It was found that KENTUCKY FLAME had shifted out slightly and SUBJUDE had shifted in slightly under pressure causing a tightening to VALPECULAR which was taking a run between those horses. Although VALPECULAR had been contacted by both horses its momentum had carried it through the opening. No action was taken.

RACE 5: OPEN H'CAP – 1050m
IN RETURN shifted out over concluding stages.
