Race 1: G & M PEOPLES MAIDEN PLATE 1000m:
1ST-- MAGARI’S DREAM 2nd -- SNIPPETSFILLY 3rd – RENTRICE 4th-- SEQUALO ROSE

RENRTICE (S. Egan) jumped away awkwardly and lay in on SEQUALO ROSE (R. Hancock) momentarily, then lay in on SNIPPETSFILLY (R. Faehr) at the 850m for a short distance. Jockey S. Egan stated the mare may race more tractably with blinkers removed.

SEQUALO ROSE traveled wide from the 500m.

Race 2: BARCALDINE LEADING APPLIANCES QTIS CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1000m:
1ST -- CRYSTAL MATES 2nd – RAVEN RAIDER 3rd – SPOTTED EAGLE 4TH -- TOP PAL

AMICI’S HOPE (W. Doyle) was slow away and traveled wide for the majority of the event.
PUBLICITY (S. Galvin) was slow away.
KEV’S DESTINY (G. Steele) traveled wide from the 800m.

Race 3: SKM TURNIP OPEN HANDICAP 1000m:
1st –LUCASAM 2nd – STRATEGIC WEAPON 3RD – WIGPOOL 4th – CRAIGLEA FIGHTER

REIGNING TO WIN was a late scratching at 12:30pm due to an accident loading on the truck. Trainer W. Irwin was advised that a veterinary certificate of soundness would be required before the gelding’s next start.
LUCASAM (R. Faehr) was slow away losing considerable ground.
EQUITANT (W. Doyle) traveled wide for the majority of the event.

Race 4: WESTERN FREIGHT LINK CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1200m:
1st – DANA DANCER 2ND -- VEILED MORN 3RD -- O’NIELLO 4th – COME PREPARED

O’NIELLO (G. Steele) jumped away awkwardly making contact with DANA DANCER (R. Faehr).
MONTREUX JAZZ (D. Brown) jumped away awkwardly, made contact with the barrier partition and caused the rider to be unbalanced.
BOSE (R. Hancock) jumped away awkwardly.
BILLY JAY (C. Bryen) was slow into stride and raced ungenerously throughout the event. Jockey C. Bryen said the gelding may have gotten his tongue over the bit. A veterinary inspection showed no abnormalities.
COME PREPARED (D. Rewald) traveled wide for the majority of the event.

Race 5: TOM BROUGHTON MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1600m:
1ST- ANGEL FROM ABOVE 2ND- CRAIGLEA RAWIE 3RD- TENMOREGRAND 4TH- TIS AWESOME

TATYOON (R. Faehr) was slow away.
SPIFFING (H. Park) was slow away.
BELLESPY (W. Doyle) was slow into stride.
TENMOREGRAND (D. Rewald) and CRAIGLEA RAWIE (R. Hancock) traveled wide for the majority of the event
