BEAUDESERT RACE CLUB STEWARDS REPORT SAT.5.7.03

STEWARDS PANEL: Mr C. McLune (Chairman), W Geggie

WEATHER - FINE TRACK - DEAD

RACE 1: CLASS B – 1650M

GLADWILL, DAINTREE DAN & BEAUDESERT BELLE were all slow to begin.

KARMA QUEST jumped away awkwardly and lost ground.

DUAL SUCCESS over raced in the early stages of the race.

KARMA QUEST blundered badly passing the winning post on the first occasion, almost dislodging its rider R. Morris, resulting in that filly losing considerable ground.

RACE 2: MAIDEN FOR TWO-YEARS-OLD & UP – 950M

TIA MARIA raced wide throughout the event.

LOYAL SUPPORT shifted out under pressure after leaving the 100 metres, hampering MY BLUE JAE.

RACE 3: MAIDEN FOR TWO-YEARS-OLD & UP – 1200M

TZVETKOFF jumped away awkwardly and lost considerable ground. Trainer Mr. Steve Costin was advised that a warning was placed on the gelding for its barrier manners.

BLIND PATIENCE and TOMMY BAY were checked on jumping away between OUR DELTA DRAGON and TEAM BONDING, both of which shifted ground.

MODEL BRIDE raced greenly in the early stages of the race. Near the 100 metres, MAGIC LAND shifted in resulting in OUR DELTA DRAGON having to be eased. Rider of MAGIC LAND was advised to exercise care in similar circumstances.

RACE 4: CLASS 2 HANDICAP – 1400M

TIMESTO was checked and lost considerable ground on jumping away between ARNAULT which shifted in and MORRIS MINOR which was taken out by KIMBERLEY COOL. Near the 300 metres KIMBERLEY COOL was checked between RISING SUCCESS and MOBY which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider D. Green.

ARNAULT lost the off hind plate in running.

RACE 5: CLASS 1 HANDICAP – 1200M

IN NEW YORK was slow to begin.


The winners of races 1, 3, 4 and 5 were swabbed – KINCRAIG, TEAM BONDING, ELDWICK and REIMS.
