SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS:

Apprentice B. Wallace was fined $100 for failing to produce a Letter of Authority from his master.

Race 1 Beaudesert Hotel Class 2 H'cap - 1650m

Leaving the 200m, JUST A GAZE (A. Holt) shifted in abruptly and made contact with LAGAZPI (B. Appo).

A post race veterinary examination of HELLO I LOVE YOU revealed mare had bled from both nostrils. As this was the first occasion that HELLO I LOVE YOU has bled, trainer A. Barnes was advised that HELLO I LOVE YOU would be barred from racing for a period of 3 months. Trainer A. Barnes advised that the horse would now be retired from racing.


Race 2: Evergreen Turf Maiden H'cap - 1300m

RICCOSO (M. Palmer) was very slow to begin and lost considerable ground. Trainer K. Loy was advised that an official warning would be placed on RICCOSO regarding its racing manners.

BANGLA DEBT (A. Merritt) was slow to begin.

KEZZ'S BOY (S. Drake) overraced in the middle stages.

M. Crawford, rider of PATHETIQUE, was reminded of his obligations in regards to the use of the whip in the home straight.

PATHETIQUE lost its off fore plate in running.


Race 3: Ryan's Electrical QTIS 3YO Maiden Plate - 1050m

DAME JULIET was declared a late scratching at 10.53 am due to an ownership discrepancy.

As P. Holmes was to be overweight, A. Merritt was substituted as the rider of POCILLO. P. Holmes was fined $100.

Trainer S. Iverson was advised that a warning would be placed on ESTANI, which proved difficult to load.

ESTANI (S. Bogenhuber) was tightened for room at the start between BIA MINARDI (R. Jamieson) and ULTIMATE RUSH (P. Schmidt), which began awkwardly and shifted out.

HAVEN QUEEN (C. Whiteley) began awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, ULTIMATE RUSH (P. Schmidt) and HAVEN QUEEN (C. Whitely) bumped.

DOUBTFUL PRINCE (A. Allen) and SOUTHERN AURORA (B. Wallace) raced wide throughout.


Race 4: Dye Naturally Hair Salon Class 2 H'cap - 1050m

Trainer A. Ross was fined $100 for failing to produce the registration papers for MISHANI ACE when required to do so.

LAST LAP (A. Allen) began awkwardly and as a result lost ground.

DEEP FAITH (P. Schmidt) was slow to begin.

Over the concluding stages, LAST LAP (A. Allen) shifted in under pressure and as a result inconvenienced BUNDU BOY (T. Wolfgram). A. Allen, rider of LAST LAP, was reprimanded and advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.

BUNDU BOY (T. Wolfgram) raced wide throughout.




Race 5: GMV Veterinary Supplies Benchmark 79 H'cap - 1050m

As M. Palmer was to be overweight, L. Rolls was substituted as the rider of FEELING NAUGHTY. M. Palmer was also to be overweight in Race 6 and N. Evans was substituted as the rider of ROCKLEA RAIDER. M. Palmer was as fined $100.

PRIVATE EXPRESS (M. Hellyer) and VINTAGE FLINT (A. Allen) were both tightened for room at the start between RICHMOND GROVE (G. Goold) and FEELING NAUGHTY (L. Rolls), which began awkwardly and shifted out.

POPPY'S REVENGE (T. Treichel) raced wide during the early stages.


Race 6: Beaudesert Soft Drinks Class 1 H'cap - 1300m

KYLIE EM was declared a late scratching at 1.30 pm on veterinary advice after being injured when being transported to the course.

A TAD APART (B. Appo), which reared up behind the barriers, was examination by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start.

JUNDAH JACK (R. Jamieson) began very awkwardly, bumping WARSHIP (A. Allen), resulting in R. Jamieson, rider of JUNDAH JACK, becoming very unbalanced in saddle and losing considerable ground.

Leaving the 1000m, SNOW CHOICE (S. Drake), which commenced to overrace, was steadied away from the heels of A TAD APART (B. Appo), which shifted in slightly.

A TAD APART, WARSHIP and JUNDAH JACK raced wide throughout.


Race 7: Barrier Reef Pools Class 3 H'cap - 1300m

SHORT SAFARI (B. Appo) and MY MIRAGE (M. Hellyer) were slow to begin.
