MONO MOON was momentarily held up for clear running making the home turn.
GOD’S LITTLE RIPA was inclined to hang out under pressure over the concluding stages.
RACE 2: DALBY MOWER SUPPLIES & JIMBOUR WINES CLASS B H'CAP – 1200M
Approaching the 600m, BAR QUEEN was forced to check and lost ground when racing to the inside of SAMSUN and CHIEF BRAVEHEART. Both L McCoy the rider of SAMSUN and M Crawford the rider of CHIEF BRAVEHEART, were reminded of their obligations when racing tight. Following this incident BAR QUEEN continued to lose ground and a post race vet examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Making the home turn SAMSUN, which had improved to the inside of DANATAL, was forced to ease and shift out to obtain clear running when SAMSUN, shifted in. Apprentice D Van Bekkum the rider of DANATAL was reprimanded in this incident.

Due to transport difficulties L McCoy replaced M Dale as the rider of BOLD MUSIC.
E Hooper the rider of KANAWHA was fined the sum of $100 for returning to scale overweight.
Both KANAWHA and FARISIKNOW were hampered and lost ground leaving the 1200m, when ALL CHEER shifted in. J McKinnon the rider of ALL CHEER was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground.
KANAWHA made the home turn wide.
