Race 1: BLACKALL MOTEL MAIDEN PLATE 1000m:
1ST-- KING KARENA 2nd – GODSON 3rd – ROCKET WARRIOR 4th-- ARETHUSA

ARETHUSA (S. Egan) and KING KARENA (B. Thomson) bumped on jumping.
POHAKU (C. Dixon) jumped inwards making contact with KING KARENA. GODSON (R. Kerwin) blundered at the 400m losing momentum.

Race 2: WILL’S WELDING CLASS 4 HANCICAP 1050m:
1ST -- BLITZED 2nd – SURROUNDED BY SIN 3rd – CRASH BAM BOOM 4TH -- SKUKUZA

SPIRIT OF SARAH (S. Egan) jumped outwards.
CRAIGLEA RAWIE (B. Thomson) received a bump in running at the 900m and failed to contest the race from then on. Jockey Thomson stated that the gelding may have gotten his tongue over the bit.
SKUKUZA (D. Brown) travelled wide rounding the home turn.
SURROUNDED BY SIN (D. Rewald) was wide from the home turn.


Race 3: REEFY’S TAKEAWAY OPEN HANDICAP 1050m:
1st –WELL SATISFIED 2nd – EQUITANT 3RD – SECRETS 4th – REIGNING TO WIN

WELL SATISFIED (S. Egan) jumped outwards.
SECRETS (C. Dixon) stood in the barrier losing ground, then jumped awkwardly.
REIGNING TO WIN (B. Thomson) was fractious in the barrier then jumped away awkwardly.
CRAIGLEA FIGHTER (R. Mercer) travelled wide for the majority of the event.
REIGNING TO WIN (B. Thomson) travelled wide from the 600m.


Race 4: BARCOO PLUMBING CLASS B HANDICAP 1200m:
1st – WALLARINGA 2nd – DEVIOUS MAN 3RD -- NETT 4th – KUYA

CICERAO MOUNTAIN, FITTIPALDI, CRYSTAL MATES and IN THE MULGA were all late scratchings at 1:00pm due to no riders being available.
Stewards permitted jockey Dixon to ride 1kg overweight.
NETT (C. Dixon) hung out rounding the first turn.
MERIBEL MAGIC (D. Rewald) travelled wide to the first turn, being held out by the horse hanging out.
SHANNON’S COMMAND (D. Baker) travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the event.
AMICI’S HOPE (D. Brown) travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the event then dipped at the 100m.
DEVIOUS MAN (B. Thomson) travelled wide from the home turn and ducked out sharply a stride from the finish line and had to be corrected.



Race 5: BLACKALL TYRE CENTRE BENCHMARK65 HANDICAP 1400m:
1ST -GOLDVIVA 2ND - WHAT DO YOU WANT 3RD - LUCASAM 4TH -ISSUES

MISS CHANCEXAAR (R. Mercer) was slow away and traveled wide throughout the majority of the event.
ELECTRONIC BEE (W. Doyle) traveled wide for the majority of the event.
LUCASAM (S. Egan) traveled wide from the 600m.

ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED.
