Race 1: BARCOO BUTCHERY OPEN HANDICAP 1000m:
1ST-- CRAIGLEA FIGHTER 2nd – BOOTOOLOO 3rd – DUAL ECHELON 4th-- MANNERS PLEASE

ZEEYAJIMI (R. Hancock) and BOOTOOLOO (B. Newport) both jumped outwards.
MANNERS PLEASE (S. Egan) dipped slightly at the start and continued to hang out for the remainder of the event.
DUAL ECHELON (C. Dixon) hung out over the concluding stages of the event.

Race 2: BLACKALL IGA MAIDEN PLATE 900m:
1ST -- ROCKET WARRIOR 2nd – KISS AND CONTROL 3rd – NOTARIES 4TH -- PIPPA’S CALL

FLASH CASANOVA and ROSELEA OSCAR were both scratched due to no jockeys available.
Apprentice B. Newport (COUNT THE VAULT) was permitted by stewards to not claiming his full allowance as trainer B. Richardson requested more packing for this maiden horse.
FAITHFUL EYE (S. Egan) and COUNT THE VAULT (B. Newport) bumped on jumping.
COUNT THE VAULT raced greenly for the majority of the event and resented the dusty track conditions.

Race 3: SPINKS CONCRETING & FENCING CLASS 5 HANDICAP 900m:
1st –LORDLY 2nd – SURROUNDED BY SIN 3RD – CLEAR DECISION 4th – STARBURST

CLEAR DECISION (B.Newport) jumped awkwardly outwards. STARBURST (D. Rewald) hung out over the concluding stages and slightly hindered SUDDENLY SWEET (R.Hancock) in her run to the line.

Race 4: SCHLUTER’S BAKERRY CLASS B HANDICAP 900m:
1st – THREE MONKEYS 2nd – WESTERN SEQUENTIAL 3RD -- SCHWEIZ 4th – FAVCO


WALLARINGA (R. Hancock) jumped awkwardly making contact with FAVCO (G. Steele) then over corrected making contact with CRAIGLEA TURBO (S. Egan).
THREE MONKEYS (S. Galvin) hung out for the majority of the event.
WESTERN SEQUENTIAL (B. Newport) hung out in the concluding stages of the event.


Race 5: GUY’S OUTBACK WORKSHOP CLASS 3 PLATE 1050m:
1ST -DECLARE 2ND - TENMOREGRAND 3RD - GOLD AGENT 4TH - HUSSON’S FORTUNE

A DEPENDANT (S. Galvin) showed no early speed.
NAVAJOS (S. Egan) traveled wide for the majority of the event.
WINDS ME UP (B. Newport) traveled wide from the 600m.
DECLARE (G. Steele) had a poor post-race recovery but recovered satisfactorily under veterinary supervision.
