CENTRAL WARREGO RACE CLUB STEWARDS REPORT 20TH APRIL 2002

STEWARDS PANEL: J Williamson (Chairman), A Jones, C Baker

WEATHER – FINE TRACK – Sand

RACE 1: SEAN & KERRY RADNEDGE’S BUTCHERY MDN H'CAP – 1000M.

ROYAL FIZZ jumped in at the start hampering OCEANIC LEE.

LAVA LOVER and MISS ERUPTION were both slow to begin.

Approaching the 700m WYUNA BABE had to be eased from the heels of ROYAL FIZZ, which also lost ground when placed in restricted room by HIT THE HILLS, which shifted in.

D Hutchins, rider of OCEANIC LEE dropped his whip over the concluding stages.

MISS ERUPTION, was inspected after the running of the event by the clubs Vet and found to be slightly shin sore.

RACE 2: CHARLEVILL CONCRETE CLASS 3 H'CAP – 1100M.

SMARTLY jumped in at the start, slightly hampering LOOK THERE, which was slow to begin.

Leaving the 800m, SUGARS had to be eased when racing between STRATHNAVER and ANOTHER LARK, which shifted in.

SMARTLY lost an off fore plate in running.

RACE 3: GEOFF & LEANNE SPENCER WESTERN WHOLESALERS CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1100M.

CROAT RED raced wide making the home turn.

SLAVWAY (NZ) was inclined to hang in from 900m until 700m.

RACE 4: K C & C WYATT BUILDERS CLASS 5 H'CAP – 1200M.

MISS DE BEERS reared as the barriers opened loosing considerable ground.

RACE 5: KERRY RUDDLE ELECTRICAL NEWMARKET PRELUDE OPEN H'CAP – 1200M.

Apprentice C Taylor was fined to sum of $150 when he returned to scale in excess of half a kilogram over weight.

ALL WINNERS WERE SWABBED.
