SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS

G Bannister who was indisposed was replaced on the following by: D Hutchins (Condamine Dancer), P Thureson (Rapadama)

J Baker was replaced on the following by: C Prow (Calcutta), A Ware (Rap Show), C Maund (Reprendre), C Prow (Careyes).

Jockey J Baker advised stewards prior to race 1 that he was unable to make the required weight on Rap Show and Reprendre. At a subsequent inquiry Jockey J Baker was suspended from riding in races for a period of 4 weeks as of mid-night 18/06/05 and to expire at mid-night 16/07/05.

On completion of the inquiry J Baker advised stewards that he would not fulfil his engagements on his remaining rides and subsequently presented himself to the ambulance officer who declared him unfit to ride.


RACE 1: C.W.R.C. CLASS B H'CAP – 1200M.

CALCUTTA knuckled on jumping away.

Shortly after the start ASTUTE ACTION shifted out taking ISHKHAN onto OTTIWELL.

Leaving the 800m DIXIE MUSIC and UNIVERSAL DUKE were hampered by BEAT THE GUN, which shifted in whilst racing ungenerously.

RACE 2: WESTERN AUTO ELECTRICAL QTIS CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1000M.

STAY YOUNG jumped away awkwardly.

At the start VICTORY NEMO lost ground when tightened for room between KENTUCKY WHISPER, which jumped in and SEQUALO’S BEST, which jumped out.

SEQUALO’S BEST hung out from the 600m until the home straight.

VICTORY NEMO shifted out over the concluding stages.

RACE 3: QRSE MARGARET SHEPPARD CLASS 5 H'CAP – 1000M.

QUICK BALL and LADY ARABELLA made contact on jumping away.

PLANETS and OCTOSON made contact shortly after the start.

OCTOSON raced wide in the early stages.

Leaving the 200m and 50m EARLY GENIUS and EAST NYNGAN made contact when both shifted ground.

RACE 4: TOWER HARDWARE CLASS 3 H'CAP – 1400M.

CROAT RED jumped away awkwardly.

At the start BIGSTAD lost ground when tightened for room between DETONATES, which jumped in and GARNI, which jumped out.

GARNI hung out in the early stages.

RACE 5: PRESIDENT’S OPEN H'CAP – 1400M.

Trainer R Sullivan made a request to stewards to allow P Thureson to ride RAPADAMA 1.5 kgs over-weight, as there was no other rider available. Stewards subsequently approved the request of Mr Sullivan.

ESSJAPEE and STARS WILL DANCE were slowly away.

MONEE LANE and DANISKY were hampered by RAPADAMA, which over-raced from the 1100m until the 800m.

HE’S SO CHEEKY raced wide from the 800m.

Jockey P Thureson (RAPADAMA) reported his saddle shifted in the early stages, which made it difficult controlling his mount when over-racing.
