RACE 1: MURRAY PURVES BETTA ELECTRICAL/RT SIGNS MAIDEN PLATE – 1400m

The commencement of the first event was delayed as the rider of DAD FORTELLS was dislodged. The gelding was subsequently examined by the club veterinarian and passed fit to run.

BOSTON PUBLIC was inclined to over-race during the early and middle stages of the race.

Inside the final 100m SIEU CHAC MIENG commenced to shift in under pressure.

RACE 2: WATTLE BRAE STUD DOWNS SERIES/CHINCHILLA REAL ESTATE OPEN H’CAP – 1400m

Approaching the 700, GREY HOMBRE was obliged to ease and shift out abruptly in an endeavour to avoid the heals of MONEY PIT which went amiss.

Subsequently the trainer of MONEY PIT was informed that the gelding would be required to undergo a veterinarian examination prior to the resumption of racing.

RACE 3: LRK WALKERS CLASS B H’CAP – 1200m

At the start GOT TO GIGGLE was hampered when PEDRO’S AMAZING jumped out and BELLA BANDITO jumped in.

LAWSON HILL was forced to ease when racing onto the heals FLYING SECRET and JELLICO when rounding the home turn, and was disappointed for sufficient racing room in the early stages of the home straight.

Apprentice C Bumstead was issued with a reprimand for allowing her mount JAYCEE’S BOY to shift out near the 150m when insufficiently clear MACHADO, which as obliged to shift out and hamper OUTBACK CHARM.

RACE 4: SHEEHAN & CO/GLEESON QUALITY MEATS CLASS 4 H’CAP – 1200m

ADAM’S ANT was held up for clear running upon rounding the home turn and was subsequently eased.

WOODSAW was inclined to lay in on GO ON NOW GO during the middle and later stages of the race and raced greenly down the straight.

RACE 5: CHINCHILLA VETERINARY RETAIL MAIDEN H’CAP – 1100m

GREAT DAVE raced extremely greenly throughout the entire event.
