RACE: 1. On returning to scale Jky E Camilla rider of the 2nd horse Emmafar lodged an objection against Nok (J Oakes) being declared the winner for grounds of alleged interference at the start. After taking evidence from riders, connections and viewing of the patrol film. Steward’s dismissed the objection as the degree of interference suffered by Emmafar when Nok jumped in making contact with that horse did not warrant the placings being reversed. Altareg (C Taylor) was difficult to load and slow away. Emmafar (E Camille) slow into stride. Time Off: 1.30 p.m.

RACE: 2. Gold Bullet (C Taylor) slow away. Crown Maid (G Geran)slow into stride and was inclined to lay out entire of race . Bold And Proud (B Richardson) raced wide entire of race. Redwood Ruler (C Abraham) was inclined to lay in after leaving 600m and over concluding stages of race, no inconvenience to any other runner. Time Off: 2.05 p.m.

RACE: 3. Ramito (J Oakes) slow away. Kwila Blue (C Abraham) slow away and jumped out making contact with Bhundu Boy (C Taylor) at the start. At approx 650m Bhundu Boy shifted out making contact with My Dear Sir (R McMaster). Time Off: 2.40 p.m.

RACE: 4. Sleepy Poet (B Richardson) slow away. Red Heavy (W Cook) jumped with head in air at start. After leaving the 650m Power Seeker (G Geran) got his head in the air and hung out badly, Power Seeker was pulled up and did not finish the race. A Veterinary examination of Power Seeker following the event failed to reveal any abnormality. Tnr P Richardson was advised the horse to barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Steward’s prior to re-nominating . Time Off: 3.15 p.m.

RACE: 5. Arctic Lance (C Abraham) slow into stride. Chief Dahar (A Lane) was inclined to over race between 1100m & 800m. Ace (C Baker) reported her mount hung out entire of race. Primary Motive (G Geran) made home turn awkwardly, shifting out making contact with Devil’s Claw (J Kehoe) making that horse shift out coming into heavy contact with Blazing Alex (R Tilley) causing that horse to blunder. Time Off: 3.55 p.m.

RACE: 6. Engineering (J Oakes) slow away. A Veterinary examination of Belle Judy, which compounded badly from home turn, revealed the mare to be lame in the near foreleg. Tnr P Richardson was advised that he must provide a Veterinary Certificate prior to re-nominating. Time Off: 4.30 p.m.
