Race 1: Landmark Cunnamulla Maiden Plate 1000metres
ZEDRAH was a late scratching at 12.15pm when the mare was found to be lame.
STORM WATCHER was slow to begin.
Near the 200 metres A PAT FOR BOB ( C Gilby ) had to be checked when tightened for room between DANGEROUS HOST ( P Clarke )and DOGWOOD DANCER ( A Lane ) which shifted in abruptly. In this incident DANGEROUS HOST became unbalanced after receiving a bump from DOGWOOD DANCER.
Race 2: Dave & Lola Webster QTIS Class 1 Handicap 1000metres
Apprentice Candy Thomson was reprimanded for failing to claim her full allowance on MALCHOW.
PHAROS CROWN reared as the gates opened losing considerable ground.
CRISTAL KNOWLEDGE jumped away awkwardly.
MALCHOW raced wide in the early and middle stages and was inclined to lay in under pressure over the concluding stages.
Race 3: Elders Rural Bank Class B Handicap 1200metres
KITSCH was declared a nun runner under AR134A when the barriers failed to open with the remainder of the field. Stewards ordered all monies invested on KITSCH be refunded and the following deductions applicable, 23 cents in the face value of the win ticket and 18 cents in the face value of the place ticket.
TRISTRAM’S TRUCE was momentarily held up for clear running rounding the home turn.
Race 4: J & J Produce Class 4 Handicap 1200metres
KING’S CONCERT reared as the gates open losing ground.
LOCHLANDY was slow to begin.
Apprentice C Thomson the rider of BIGSTAD was reprimanded for persevering for a run to the inside of SUMI PRINCESS where there was insufficient room near the 200 metres resulting in BIGSTAD having to be checked.
Race 5: XXXX Open Handicap 1200metres
No Racing incidents.
All Winners Swabbed
