RACE 1: HARRIMAN PARK CLASS 3 H’CAP – 1000M.

PLANETS was slowly away.

MALTESE BUR, which jumped away awkwardly, hung out from the 600m until the home straight causing minor inconvenience to BONZER BABE.

NEXT RED and TERSE STAR jumped away awkwardly.

BLUE OSIER hung in throughout

RACE 2: CHARLOTTE PLAINS MAIDEN PLATE – 1200M.

MADE IN CHINA was difficult to load. Connections were advised that a barrier clearance is required for MADE IN CHINA prior to its next start.

CROOKED CRANIUM and MADE IN CHINA were slowly away.

At the start PONY CLUB GIRL was tightened for room between MANSARD, which jumped out and CITI LETTER, which jumped in.

TRIKWILA jumped with its head in the air.

MADE IN CHINA, which got its tongue over the bit hung out from 600m until the home straight.

CITI LETTER shifted out over the concluding stages.

RACE 3: DAVE & EUNICE ROSS MEMORIAL H’CAP – 1200M.

MIDNIGHT SILENCE got down in the barriers. The veterinary surgeon subsequently cleared the gelding to start.

MR BOBCAT jumped in the air as the gates opened.

MISS CROCKETT jumped out taking CALCUTTA onto OTTIWELL.

Leaving the 200m A PAT FOR BOB was eased from the heels of STAND FOR A KING.

RACE 4: CUNNAMULLA FELLA FESTIVAL H’CAP – 1200M.

ARABIAN STYLE and CAREYES jumped away awkwardly.

Leaving the 800m ESSJAYPEE was eased from heels.

ARABIAN STYLE hung in throughout.

RAPADAMA hung out from the 1000m until the 400m.

CAREYES made the home turn extremely wide.

RACE 5: HIGGINS TRANSPORT TOOWOOMBA /xxxx CLASS 5 H'CAP – 1400M.

KWIGEBO, which sustained a severe laceration to the head when it reared up in the tie-up stalls was withdrawn at 11.10 am.

On returning to scale jockey R Tilley rider of the second horse STARS WILL DANCE lodged an objection against REASONED (F Okawa) being declared the winner for alleged interference near the 200m and 25m. After hearing evidence from connections, riders and viewing of the patrol film, stewards dismissed the protest as they were of the opinion that the degree of interference caused was not sufficient to reverse the placings.

TAIPAN RULER was slowly away.

At the start ANNIE SUCCESS was tightened for room between REPRENDRE, which jumped in and GEMPACK, which jumped out.

TAIPAN RULER raced wide from 1400m until the 250m.
