SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT:
As jockey C. Bryen was injured he was replaced as per Stewards Summary Sheet.
As Jockey J Baker was ill he was replaced as per Stewards Summary Sheet.

RACE 1 DALBY T.A.B. 3 YO MAIDEN PLATE ------- 1000M

Princess Zanie broke through the rear of the barriers prior to the start of the race ,and was withdrawn by the Stewards acting on Veterinary advice .Immediately after this incident Tamarshak refused to load and was withdrawn by the Stewards .Both horses were withdrawn at approx 1-30 pm .
Prior to the declaration of correct weight being given Stewards ordered the deductions of 27 cents the win and 24 cents the place on the face value of all winning tickets and all monies on the withdrawn horses to be refunded .
Stewards notified connections of both horses that they would be banned from racing until both horses ( Princess Zanie and Tamarshak )passed an official barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards .
Aragog was slow to begin .
Breathe was tightened for room on jumping away by Swerves which jumped out and Kayabusa Lynisansi which jumped in .
The Sangster raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race ,then weakened over the final 250m of the race .
When questioned by Stewards as to the tactics adopted App M Abe stated that he believed that the better going was out wider on the track and in his opinion the horse would be more suited in the better going . Stewards noted his explanation Approaching the 500m Our Little Devil lay in placing Drama In The Wings in restricted racing room for a short distance.
Over the final 150m Swerves lay out under pressure resulting in Le Jour De Glorie having to be eased and alter course .
Stewards reprimanded Jockey T Banks (AR137 (a) ) in this incident .
A post race veterinary examination of Arblaze revealed No Significant Findings .

RACE -2 TUULA & SCOTT/ DALBY PARKVIEW MOTEL CLASS B
HCP.—1400M

Ozjuria jumped out at the start hampering Another Ransom .
Miss Dakota and Stint’s Over made contact on jumping away.
A short distance later Miss Dakota and Stints Over were tightened for room by Empty Sky which rolled out and Just Jeddah which shifted in .
Ozjuria raced greenly in the middle stages of the race .
Chick Gold was held up approaching the 500m and again at the 300m of the event Dare and Honour had to be steadied approaching the 500m Miss Dakota shifted ground over the final 150m of the event .


RACE 3 FOODWORKS DALBY HCP. CLASS 2 ------ 1200M

App M Abe reported ill and was stood down by the Stewards acting on medical advice .
App. Abe was replaced as per the Stewards Summary Sheet .
Luna Pride jumped out at the start hampering Road to Honours and taking it wider on the track.
Manly City and Llongo Chief both jumped away awkwardly.
Black All Over jumped in at the start tightening Regal Corinto in on to Figmentation .
Approaching the 800m Gold In Mind was tightened for room and had to be eased when Black All Over was taken in by Albarista which commenced to lay in abruptly .
Stewards reprimanded Jockey J Warrington in this incident AR 137 (a) .
A post race veterinary examination of Llongo Chief revealed no significant findings and as the horse performed poorly Stewards ordered the horse to be swabbed .
Figmentation returned to scale with a laceration to the inside of the near fore pastern which required Veterinary attention .
Connections will be notified that a veterinary certificate will be required before the horse starts again .
Stewards interviewed Trainer W Baker as to the reason he presented Llongo Chief to race with incorrect gear .Stewards subsequently fined Trainer W Baker the sum of $50-00 under AR 140 B(2).
Stewards questioned Jockey C Bumstead as to the seemingly poor performance of Baladi..Jockey C Bumstead stated that the mare had loomed up approaching the home turn but believed the big weight and the fact that the mare was never comfortable in the prevailing track conditions was the reason for the horses poor performance. Stewards noted the explanation .

RACE 4 DALBY HARDWARE &PLUMBING FLYING HCP -1000M

Leather jumped away awkwardly making contact with Charlie Cheese .
Let Fly raced wide throughout .
Jesters Dance began awkwardly then approaching the home turn was held up and had to be steadied off the heels of Leather .Jesters Dance was again held up for clear running over the final 250m of the race .


RACE 5 DALBY TOWN COUNCIL PLATE –CLASS 3 -1000M

Carpentaria and Little Missie began awkwardly.
Approaching the 900m Kildare had to be eased off the heels of Fur Trader which lay in .
At the 800m Dedicated had to be eased when tightened for room by Fur Trader which again lay in .
Stewards reprimanded App P Randall under AR137(a) in this incident.
Stewards interviewed Trainer R Morris as to the reason he presented his horse to race with incorrect gear. Stewards subsequently fined Trainer Morris the sum of $50-00 under AR140B (2) As Kildare was placed in the care of M/s K Gardener by Trainer W Baker, Stewards inquired as to the reason Kildare was presented to race in incorrect gear. Stewards fined Trainer W Baker, through his representative the sum of $50-00 ,under AR140 B (2)

ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED .
