Race 1: Dalby TAB Maiden Plate - 1100m
1st - Factotum 2nd – Look At Ruby 3rd – Got You Rocking 4th - Izachamp

LA MAJEUR(G Butler) and NORTHBANK(S Sweedman) were slow into stride.

MARSCAYS EDITION(D Mcwhinney) jumped in at the start making contact with HOPE OF SEVEN(A Taylor).

GOT YOU ROCKING(S Richardson) jumped out at the start making contact with IZACHAMP(W Cook).

Leaving the 800 metres GOT YOU ROCKING had to be steadied to avoid the heels of MARSCAYS EDITION, which shifted out.

LOOK AT RUBY(L Roberts) made the home turn wide.

FACTOTUM(C Spry) shifted out over the concluding stages of the event.

Race 2: Knox & Postle Veterinary Class B Handicap - 1400m
1st – Danni Sharleen 2nd – Kiss The King 3rd – Fatal Femme Fatale 4th – Lady Agulhas

Connections of DANNI SHARLEEN advised stewards that the horse would be ridden closer to the lead if circumstances permit.

ZAHARIAN DOLL(L Roberts) was slow into stride.

KISS THE KING (W Cook) jumped out at the start making contact with BRENNAN(K Cross).

GEMINI GEORGE(R Cox) raced wide throughout.

CRACK THE KITTY(C Spry) raced wide in the early stages of the event.

MARQUIS DE ROY(S Sweedman) made the home turn wide.

Near the 200m CRACK THE KITTY had to be steadied to avoid the heels of NORSE INVADER(A Smith), which shifted out to improve. App A Smith, the rider of NORSE INVADER, was reprimanded.

Race 3: Foodworks Dalby Class 2 Handicap - 1200m
1st – Flying Havana 2nd – Frisco Affair 3rd – Duke Ivor 4th - Mada

FLYING HAVANA(R Kerwin) was slow into stride.

DUKE IVOR(B Thomson) jumped out at the start making contact with AVANT RAPIDE(R Hinricks).

FLYING HAVANA and PASHIONATELY YOURS(S Richardson) made the home turn wide.

FRISCO AFFAIR(D Mcwhinnew) raced wide throughout.

BROKEN LINK(N Tomizawa) was held up for clear running over the final 50m.

Race 4: Dalby Hardware Plumbing Open Handicap - 1300m
1st – Final Crunch 2nd – Mr Tombola 3rd – Flying Squaw 4th – Glasgow Town

As the barriers opened PIETRO VANNUCCI(S Apthorpe) reared and jumped awkwardly. S Apthorpe was dislodged from PIETRO VANNUCCI and suffered a harmless fall. S Apthorpe was able to fulfil his further engagement. Connections of PIETRO VANNUCCI were advised that the horse must barrier trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to its next race start.

DIGGING DEEP(R Kerwin) was inclined to over-race in the middle stages of the event.

PICWORTH(S Egan) raced wide in the early stages of the event.

ROLLER DRUM(G Butler) raced wide throughout.

Race 5: Country Club Hotel Class 4 Handicap - 1000m
1st – Tennessee Blue 2nd – Ocho Rios 3rd – Gallant Pilot 4th – Just Cinders

New starting time for this race was 4.32pm to allow riders to ride at another race meeting.

App R Hinricks the rider of OCHO RIOS reported that OCHO RIOS was lame in front. A post-race veterinary examination of OCHO RIOS did not reveal any abnormalities.
