SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

As G Geran was indisposed, stewards permitted the following riding replacements as per Rider changes summary report. G Geran will be advised that he would be required to supply a medical certificate.

Race 1: Chesterfield John Deere/ Dalby General Steel Plate - 1000m
1st – At Sundown 2nd – Zamboni 3rd – Pasada 4th – That’s Harry

MISTER CHIPPER (B Thomson) jumped in at the start making contact with SALUTE THE DIGGER (C Eaton).

AERIAL ACTION (S Richardson) jumped in the air as the start was affected and lost ground.

ZAMBONI (J Bowditch) jumped out at the start making contact with HEY HUNTER (N Tomizawa).

CURRAWEE LASS (K Yoshida) shifted out abruptly at the 150m.

BEAUMAN (A Smith) had a tendency to lay in over the concluding stages of the event.


Race 2: Haymans Electrical Lighting H’cap - 800m
1st – Rumba Jack 2nd – Cattleman 3rd – Sequalo Morn 4th – Mini Maizing

An inquiry was opened into the reason for jockey C Eaton being dislodged from CLASSY CRYSTAL at approx the 500m. Stewards took statements from jockey J Warrington (MORCOMBE), P Wolfgram (COZ HE WANTS TO). The inquiry was adjourned to a later date to be fixed as jockey C Eaton was transported to hospital.

J Warrington the rider of MORCOMBE reported that he had hit his right ankle on the gate on jumping from the barriers. Ambulance cleared him to fulfill his further engagements.


ZAHBAJ (C Maund) had to be steadied after leaving the 100m when MINI MAIZING (S Egan) shifted out once placed under pressure


Race 3: Dalby Hardware & Plumbing Class B H’cap - 1400m
1st – Lady Agulhas 2nd – Sargenta 3rd – Hipersona 4th – Lil Red Rooster

SWEET SOUND (A Smith) was restless in the barriers prior to the start.

WINNING ROLLER (M Abe) jumped in at the start making contact with HIPERSONA (J Letherby).

Race 4: Queensland Cotton Dalby Newmarket H’cap - 1200m
1st – Fleet ‘N’ Fast 2nd – Haizum 3rd – Three Swallows 4th – Ima Joker

RED FERMENTS was a late scratching at 9.30am due to a rider not being available. As betting had not commenced no deductions were required.

Stewards permitted M Abe to ride FLEET ‘N’ FAST 1.5kg over the allotted weight as no other rider was available. No action was taken as he was a substitute rider.

HAIZUM (J Bowditch) jumped in at the start making contact with BURMAK (L McCoy).

ANDROUGE (B Thomson) raced wide in the early stages of the event.


Race 5: E. D. Stewart & Sons Stayers Cup Class 3 H’cap - 2000m
1st – Saint Romain 2nd – I Love Tobouggie 3rd – Pressed On 4th – Greys A Rockin

SAINT ROMAIN (J Warrington) was slow into stride.

I LOVE TOBOUGGIE (B Thomson) raced wide throughout the event.
