RACE 1: MURRAY’S TYRES & MORE CLASS B H’CAP-
1st-Give Me Room 2nd-Noela’s Romp 3rd-Night Wanderer 4th-Finagle

FINAGLE (S Apthorpe) stood flat footed at the start losing ground.

NIGHT WANDERER (G Geran) over raced during the early and middle stages.

Near the 800m, LIBERTY QUEST (K Yoshida) was tightened for room between WIDE BAY (N Yamada) and COMMANDER BOLTZ (J McKinnon) which shifted in whilst hanging.

Near the 700m, LIBERTY QUEST was tightened for room by NOELA’S ROMP (S Bogenhuber) which shifted out to improve resulting COMMANDER BOLTZ which was racing to the outside being forced wider on the track. Jockey Bogenhuber was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground.



RACE 2: DES BURNS MEMORIAL MAIDEN PLATE 1200M-
1st- Tatt’s Lucky 2nd-Telesius 3rd-Aljomaka Bay 4th-Jorja’s Dragon

RAFFLES MISS (J McKinnon) and FITTIPALDI (W Clasohm) made contact on jumping away.

ALJOMAKA BAY (J Hoopert) which began awkwardly raced wide throughout.




RACE 3: DALBY PRICE RITE CARS QTIS CLASS 3 PLATE 1100M-
1st-Tragedy 2nd-Choral 3rd-Zippity Jet 4th-Regency Royal

CHORAL (G Geran) and AFFIRMATIVE (N Tomizawa) were both hampered at the start by RUSSIAN EMPIRE (N Evans) which began awkwardly and shifted out.

RUSSIAN EMPIRE over raced during the early and middle stages of the event.

BELLREGO (J Letherby) commenced to buck near the 850m near the 750m dislodged its rider. A post-race Veterinary Inspection of BELLREGO revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore leg. Stewards advised trainers representative Mrs. K. Geran that a Veterinary Certificate will be required for the gelding prior to it next racing and that a warning will be issued against its racing manners. Apprentice Letherby was uninjured when dislodged and was cleared to fulfill his remaining engagements.

ZIPPITY JET (G Killen) raced wide throughout.




RACE 4: DALBY ENGINE REBUILDERS QTIS 600 2YO PLATE 1000M-
1st-Robert’s Command 2nd-Craiglea Model 3rd-Ahsoka Tano 4th-Vain Dazzler

ANJUREE (W Clasohm) began awkwardly.

A post-race Veterinary Inspection of ANJUREE revealed the filly to be showing general signs of lameness in both front and back legs. Trainer’s representative Ms S Kruger was advised that trainer R MacRae would be required to obtain a Veterinary Certificate for ANJUREE prior to the filly next racing.

RACE 5:PETER & KAY HEWSON CANNONBALL FLYING OPEN H’CAP 1000M-
1st-Fleet ‘n’ Fast 2nd-Ponzi Scheme 3rd-Liger 4th-Frisco Lights

FOREST REDGUM (L McCoy) began awkwardly and shifted in making contact with LIGER (W Clasohm).
