SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS
Stewards accepted the explanations tendered by all trainers in relation to their late declaration of riders and late rider changes.
RACE 1: BREMICK FASTNERS CLASS 1 H’CAP 1000M-
1st- Give it a Crac 2nd-Kissing Type 3rd-Jitter Juice 4th-Raku Tu
MASTER FORESHORE (J Johnson) was tightened for room at the start between MUNSTER PROVINCE (R Hancock) and MR PIN WA (J Hoopert) both of which shifted ground.
JITTER JUICE (K Yoshida) was slow to begin.
KISSING TYPE (R Goltz) hung in during the early stages of the event.
GIVE IT A CRAC (S Bogenhuber) hung out rounding the home turn.
RACE 2: HITACHI POWER TOOLS MAIDEN PLATE 1200M-
1ST-Authoritative 2nd-Fairglase 3rd-Home And Hosed 4th-Secret Circus
REGAL MARINER (J Hoopert) and FLASH APACHE (J Brown) both dislodged their riders en route to the barriers and galloped a short distance before being restrained. Both horses were examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to start. However app J Brown sustained and injury to her shoulder when dislodged and was deemed unfit to ride by the ambulance officers. Therefore Stewards declared FLASH APACHE a late scratching 1:44pm. Stewards ordered that all monies invested on FLASH APACHE be refunded with the following deductions to apply.
AUTHORITATIVE- 4cents the win and 4 cents the place.
FAIRGLASE- 5cents the place.
HOME AND HOSED- 5cents the place.
BAANYA SON (R Ride) stood flatfooted at the start losing ground.
MY DELIRIUM (G Geran) began awkwardly and shifted out making contact with BEST MEMORY (S Apthorpe).
HOME AND HOSED (C Eaton) raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.
SCOTCH ROCKET (W O’Connell), OZICROWN (T Serjeant) and REGAL MARINER (J Hoopert) all raced wide for the majority of the event.
RACE 3: WHK FINANCIAL PLANNING CLASS 4 H’CAP 1200M-
1ST-Stephen Got Even 2nd-Coz He Wants To 3rd-Desert Lair 4th-Love Our Girls
COZ HE WANTS TO (R Goltz) jumped out at the start hampering LOVE OUR GIRLS (C Maund) and WINNING DREAMS (B Powell).
COZ THE WANTS TO was steadied shortly after the start to avoid the heels of EMBELISHING (S Bayliss).
MUFFET (J Hoopert) hung out for the majority of the event.
Near the 800m, WINNING DREAMS (B Powell) was forced to steady and shift out to avoid the heels of ITCHY TIGER (R Ride) which shifted in marginally.
COZ HE WANTS TO was momentarily held up for clear running near the 400m.
RACE 4: WHK BUSINESS ADVISORY CLASS B H’CAP 1400M-
1st-Al Nassma 2nd-Classic Country 3rd-Don’t Walk Away 4th-Offset Prince
BALLARD BOY (G Geran) and AL NASSMA (Ride) brushed shortly after the start.
WOOLGAR ROAD (C Maund) shifted out abruptly near the 1100m and raced wide from this point.
DON’T WALK AWAY (N Nishio) shifted out when placed under pressure in the home straight.
RACE 5: WHK CLASS B H’CAP 1400M-
1ST-Le Max 2nd-Chromed 3rd-Dead Heat Luck From Above/Bounty Miss 5th-Aside
WINNING AGAIN (C Eaton) was tightened for room at the start between BOUNTY MISS (N Tomizawa) and SOARING ANGEL (R Robinson) which jumped in.
TATT’S LUCKY (G Geran) raced ungenerously in the early stages of the event.
LUCK FROM ABOVE (D McMaster) hung in and raced wide throughout.
RESONATING (R Hancock) and WINNING AGAIN both raced wide throughout.
Shortly after passing the winning post GENERAL BAXTER (J Johnson),LUCK FROM ABOVE and BOUNTY MISS (N Tomizawa) were all tightened for room to the inside of CHROMED (C Maund) which shifted in. C Maund was advised to exercise more care.
A post-race Veterinary Inspection of SHAGSTAR which tailed off failed to reveal any abnormalities
Jockey C Eaton reported that during the course of the day she aggravated a pre-existing shoulder injury. Jockey Eaton undertook to advise Stewards in the days subsequent to her riding today if the injury required any medical treatment.
RACE 6: WHK ACCOUNTANTS & ADVISERS OPEN H’CAP 1400M-
1ST-She’s A Rock Star 2nd-Grain Trader 3rd-Sandhill Pride 4th-Night Escort
GENIUS MASTER (J Johnson) raced wide throughout.
