GOLDEN MINDY was examined by the club’s veterinary surgeon prior to the start of this event and was declared fit to start. Stewards issued a 1kg penalty for GOLDEN MINDY after the horse had won the first event.
IGNASON (A Williams) threw its head in the air as the start was effected.

RACE 5: MAIDEN H'CAP – 1200 METRES (6 STARTERS)

RACE 6: CLASS 6 H'CAP – 1200 METRES (7 STARTERS)

GENERAL REPORT:
Trainer B.Williams was fined the sum of $100 under the terms of Lr71(1) for the late scratching of RYDER from the Rockhampton Jockey Clubs race meeting on Friday 20th September 2000.
