STEWARDS PANEL: W.A.L. Abell (Chairman), Mrs J Lo Monaco
Persuant ot winning races on 10/04/2003 the following re handicaps were affected.
Race 2 CRAFTY LAD + 2kg 61.5
Race 4 BUNBURRA BOBBY + 2kg 59.5
Race 5 BALLY KAY +2kg 59.0
Race 6GOODBYE TO LOVE +2kg 58.0

WEATHER – Overcast TRACK:- Good RAIL –

RACE 1:.River Drive Van Park Haymans Electrical Class 1 Handicap 1370 metres
Starters 9 FOCAL POINT (J. Long) could not sustain early pace at the 350 m position. MIGHTY KNIGHT (J. Lewis) eased and angled out to obtain a clear run.

RACE 2: B P Oasis Roadhouse Open Handicap 1370 metres
Starters 5 No reportable incidents

RACE 3: Pacific Relines and XXXX Class 3 Handicap 1220 metres
Starters 6 MR HOWARD (L. Critoph) raced ungenerously throughout the race. At the 300 m position NOT TELLING YOU shifted out and made light contact with CYRENE (J. Felix)

RACE 4:-Stocklick Trading and D & E Collins Einasleigh Cup Class 6 Handicap 1620 metres
Starters 6 At the 700 m position COME BACK RUSTY lost ground. Jockey A Cox informed the Stewards that his mount was not travelling well at that stage. The incident was aggravated when HEAVY BOUNTY (J. Lewis) hung in. At the home turn COME BACK RUSTY (A. Cox) which was hanging in made contact with MOUNTAIN SONG (L Nelson) which was attempting to shift out.

RACE 5: The Savannahlander Class 5 Handicap 1220 metres
Starters 5 An error in the race book regarding the class of this race was corrected and an announcement made.
No reportable incidents.

RACE 6:-P I B A and Malanda Bulk Fuel Class 2 Handicap 1220 metres
Starters 8 Weights raised 1kg. TRES RED was scratched from the race by the Steward acting on veterinary advice, before betting commenced FAIR CHALLENGE (J. Lewis) was reluctant to leave the starting stalls
