RACE 1 MAIDEN HCP – 1100 METRES – (7 STARTERS): GLIDEALONG jumped out and TURRAMURRA BOY jumped inwards causing STARRETTA to lose ground. STARRETTA then wanted to hang in throughout the race. N. Coyne lost his whip at approximately the 100 metres.
RACE 2 CLASS 2 HCP – 1200 METRES- (5 STARTERS): LASSEVIREN was scratched after final acceptances and trainer D. Powell will be required to furnish a veterinary certificate before allowing the mount to start.
CAITLYN GIRL jumped outwards hampering ROYAL RADJA. SIR HENRYSEE was slow away.
On the home turn CHOQUITA ran out very sharply when passed by CAITLYN GIRL.
RACE 3 CLASS 4 HCP - 1635 METRES – (7 STARTERS): ADAM AGAIN jumped inwards onto FLYING FEATHERS.
WELL MADE was slow away and was then unable to tail onto the field.
B. Nimmo was reprimanded regarding his usage of the whip in the straight.
RACE 4 OPEN HCP – 1300 METRES – (10 STARTERS): ADAM AGAIN jumped inwards onto FLYING FEATHERS.
WELL MADE was slow away and was then unable to tail onto the field.

RACE 5 CLASS 1 HCP – 1000 METRES – (9 STARTERS): GOLD ‘N’ BRONZE stood when the gates and lost considerable ground.
GOLD ‘N’ BRONZE will be required to undertake a satisfactory barrier test before starting again. An enquiry was held into an incident on the home turn in which ALTA VISTA was hampered.
It was established that prior to the incident, ALTA VISTA was running about a little and was shouldered by SAHARA MAX which was coming through quickly.
G. Bel was reprimanded over the incident.
GOLD ‘N’ BRONZE ran onto the heels of NOBLE MARY when making a run in the straight.
RACE 6 CLASS 6 HCP – 1000 METRES – (7 STARTERS): At approximately the 800 metre mark ROMANOV came across quickly onto WIDGEE GO causing that horse to be checked. D. Bird was reprimanded over the incident.
WIDGEE GO ran about in the straight when under pressure.
SWABBING Three samples were obtained from the horses PAXMASTER, CAITLYN GIRL and PEGASO and forwarded to the Racing Science Centre for analysis
BOOKMAKERS: Two bookmakers fielded at the meeting with no betting disputes to report.
