RACE 1:CLASS 5 H'CAP- 1100M
TIME RULES was slow into stride.

RACE 2: MAIDEN PLATE - 1200M
Due to transport problems CANADIAN HAZEL was a late scratching at 1.10pm, no deductions were required. Trainer B Trimble informed stewards that STORM WATCHER injured his near hind leg on transport to races Vet inspected and was declared a late scratching at 1.20pm no deductions were required. Trainer C Smith was fined the sum of $25 for failing to declare the rider of LA SPECIAL by the required time.

RACE 3: CLASS B H'CAP - 1200M
EDGEROI ADAM suffered a bleeding attack during the event, the gelding will incur a mandatory 3 month ban from racing. A swab sample was taken from EDGEROI ADAM. SHAKESPEARIAN was slow into stride. SCARLET STANZA jumped in at the start making contact with INVERMORE. UNHINDERED was inclined to hang out for entire event. SPRINGSURE ROAD was hampered on the home turn when EDGEROI ADAM rolled in momentarily.

RACE 4: OPEN H'CAP - 1300M
Trainer A O'Sullivan was fined the sum of $25 for failing to declare a rider for GAINLY LAD by the required time. Delay in giving correct weight as jockey's wished to view photo finish of 4th and 5th place getters. It was ascertained that BALLANULLY had run 4th and DREAM OUT LOUD had run 5th. VOLCANIC SPARKLE, which was restless in the barriers was vet checked and cleared to run. BALLANULLY was slow into stride.

RACE 5: CLASS 3 H'CAP - 1400M
COMMANDANTE was inclined to lay out entire event. On the home turn WHAT HAPPENED shifted out coming into contact with COMMANDANTE. WINDY was slow into stride.
