GENERAL:
After race 1 the track was downgraded to DEAD.
Race 1: Class B Handicap - 1000m:
1stNOEL ‘N’ PETE 2ndPREMIER RESORT 3rdISIS QUEEN4thFOXIE EM
Prior to the race C Bryen was intercepted at scale weighing without a body protector. He pleaded guilty to a charge under AR118C( c) and was fined $200.
FOXIE EM knuckled at the start and lost ground.
NOEL ‘N’ PETE was slowly away.
SQUEEZE ME PLEASE raced greenly in the early stages and approaching the 800m shifted out and at the same time MUCH LOVED rolled in causing TEE DEE EIGHT to be steadied off heels.
Race 2: Maiden Plate - 1200m:

Following race 1 heavy rain fell and following an inspection the track was downgraded to dead. Due conditions in the chute the race was started on the course proper.
PLATINUM CRUISER was slow into stride.
MYSTERY GUN over-raced in the early stages.
LIVINGSTONE COUNTY shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages.
Race 3: Class 3 Handicap - 1200m:

Due to the condition of the chute the race was started on the course proper.
CLEAR INTENT was restless in the barriers.
LUDLOW LAD was slowly away.
STRATH VALLEY shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages.
Race 4: Open Handicap - 1200m:
1stKAPITZA2ndFEARLESS RACER3rd WILKE’S JOY4thMIGHTY STRONGHOLD
Due to the state of the track at the 1200 metres the race was started at about the 1150 metre mark.
HEYA PAL proved difficult to load.
KINGDOM ROCK didn’t handle the track.
WILKE’S JOY was disappointed for a run at about the 200 metre mark.
Race 5: Class 5 Handicap - 1300m:
1stTHAT’S PALEFACE2ndDANATINA3rdBRAVEST OF ALL4th DIFFERENTIAL
GREEN JACKET was reluctant to load.
DIFFERENTIAL raced wide throughout.
THAT’S PALEFACE drifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.
