GENERAL:


Race 1: QTIS Maiden Plate - 1000m:
1st – NAVARRA CATCH 2nd – DENCOME 3rd – BALLATOR 4th – TONG MAK
BEE JAYS MAGIC and HAZEL IN VIENNA were both slowly away.
BIG ACE jumped inwards coming into contact with TONG MAK.
BIG ACE tended to lay in from the 800m to the home turn.
DENCOME raced greenly in the early and middle stages and shifted out sharply on the home turn coming into contact with NAVARRA CATCH forcing that horse wider on the track. A veterinary inspection of NAVARRA CATCH following the race revealed no abnormalities.
Stewards ordered a veterinary inspection of DENCOME which revealed the horse to be suffering from sesamoiditis.

Race 2: Class B Handicap, 1000m:
1st – RIDDLERS STAR 2nd – RUNPHIR 3rd – FLASH FOR CASH 4th – BUILT LIKE CLINT
TRINITY EXPRESS scratched at 12.30pm for veterinary reasons following a float mishap at Dingo. Veterinary certificate to be supplied.
STANDING OUT was fractious in the barriers and broke through the back gate dislodging N Coyne. N Coyne took his place in the field but sought medical attention upon pulling up. He was treated for a sprained left ankle by the paramedic.
Shortly after the start LLONGO CHIEF attempted to buck. Trainer C Smith was directed to trial LLONGO CHIEF prior to starting again.
Approaching the home turn BRAWNY JACK shifted in momentarily causing LLONGO CHIEF which was tending to lay out the be steadied from heels.

Race 3: Class 6 Plate - 1100m:
1st – JOE DIRT 2nd – LET’S RECONSIDER 3rd – NOW MING 4th – STARTACUS
LET’S RECONSIDER jumped awkwardly and outwards coming into contact with JOE DIRT.
LET’S RECONSIDER shifted out on the home turn forcing SLY TYCOON wider on the track.
JOE DIRT drifted out over the concluding stages.

Race 4: Class 3 Plate - 1200m:
1st – ZERINCO 2nd – MONTEAL BEAU 3rd – INTER DIAMONDS 4th – PICK ANOTHER
PUDDLE DANCER scratched 3/2/06 on Veterinary advice. Certificate supplied.
MONTEAL BEAU jumped in the air as the gates opened.
INTER DIAMONDS slowly away.
