Jockey L Dillon was late arriving on course. While his explanation was accepted, he was nevertheless reminded to be on course to fulfil his engagements at the required time and a penalty may be imposed for further occurrences.
Race 1: Can Do Pest Control BM60 Handicap- 1000 metres
SMART PATROL (8.05am), ROCKETMOUNTAINHIGH (10.10am) and OUR FLAIR (12.40pm) were declared late scratchings due to no available riders.
HEART THROB- Fractious in barriers prior to start being effected, and when start effected, reared and lost ground.
PEARL FISH- Began awkwardly
MOSCOW- Raced wide throughout. Jockey reported that gelding had pulled up with its tongue back and suggested a tongue tie for its next start.
Race 2: Hot FM Maiden Plate- 1200 metres
ESPRIT LIGHT- Unable to be loaded and declared a late scratching at 2.13pm.
All bets on ESPRIT LIGHT to be refunded with deductions of 42 cents (win) and 24 cents (place) to apply to successful bets. Trainer T Williams was advised that the mare would be required to obtain a further barrier certificate prior to its next start.
COWBOY’S GIRT- Made contact with another runner on jumping and raced wide throughout.
GU BRATH- On jumping, made contact with another runner. Rider reported that saddle shifted to the offside shortly after the start.
SHINING HERO- Hung in throughout.
Race 3: Herb Milne Memorial Open Handicap- 1200 metres
POWER TO EXCEED- Raced wide throughout.
DUAL ECHELON- Bled from both nostrils first time. Trainer advised of requirements under AR 53A.
Race 4: Jackson Painting Class 3 Plate- 1300 metres
The late rider declaration of L Dillon ONLY ONE ANNIE was accepted.
LE CHAT BOTTE- Made contact with another runner at the start. Rider reported that mare had hung out in the middle stages. In the straight, shifted ground and proved difficult to ride out. Post-race veterinary inspection- no abnormalities.

JET FIGHTER- Post-race veterinary inspection- no abnormalities.
Race 5: P & J Young Concrete & Construction Class B Handicap- 1615 metres
CALL BACK was declared a late scratching at 1.13pm due to no available rider.
Correct weight was delayed to allow Jockey D Evans to view the available patrol films to ascertain if any objection could be lodged against the winner EL GAGO. After doing so, Jockey Evans did not proceed.
HIDDEN PLAY- Slow to begin.
SWEET STUFF- Slow to begin.
TRACKER- Pulled hard in the early and middle stages.
THE ALAMO- Raced wide for the majority of the race.
