GENERAL: Stewards declared SEAHAWK DANCER a late scratching at 11-10AM after receiving a telephone call from Trainer Mr G Rewald advising due to transport difficulties on route to todays meeting, he would be unable to be a Gayndah Race Meeting. JKy D Rewald who was travelling in the same vehicle would not be attending, with Stewards approving the following riding changes.
Race 1 GENERAL’S REVENGE – Jky P Gesler
Race 3 PRINCESS MARGO – Jky P Lindeberg
Race 4 PULL MY STRING – Jky J Pujolas

Race 1 GAYNDAH MOTORS / LJ HOOKER CLASS B HCP 1200MTRS

DEBBIE’S PRIDE (Jky J Hoopert) threw its head up on jumping away and lost ground.

RADOMA (App D Van Bekkum) was slowly away.

Approaching the 1000mtr LET’S GROOVE (App G Jones) which was pulling hard got its head up and became unbalance for a few strides.

Approaching the 500mtr ROAD LOVER (Jky L Appo) improved up onto the heels of GENERAL’S REVENGE (Jky P Gesler) and had to steady.

The winner RADOMA was swabbed.

Race 2 ROBERT & KERRY SLACK CLASS 5 HCP 1200MTRS

Shortly after the start KIARA MISS (App Jky F Sendon) has shifted in tightening MISS RUTHERFORD (App K Treble) onto BON VIVEUR (Jky L Appo) which has placed pressure on TIME TO WATCH (Jky J Hoopert). Stewards instructed App Sendon to exercise care in future race ride.

Approaching the 700mtr RAVENOUS MAKTIG SI (App D Van Bekkum) has had to ease off the heels of MISS RUTHERFORD (App K Treble)

Race 3 BILL DAVIS MEMORIAL –ALLISON ROBINSON & FAMILY QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000MTRS

The prize money for QTIS horses shown in the race book was not as advertised in the Racing Calendar

SHOWOFF GIRL received a kick to the O/S jaw area while in the parade area and was inspected by the Club Vet and declared a late scratching at 2-45PM.
On announcement of correct weight deductions of 9cents for a win and 10cents for a place with all monies place on SHOWOFF GIRL be refunded was announced.

KINGSTON’S IMAGE (App F Sendon), PRINCESS MARGO (Jky P Lindeberg), ANNSMAN (Jky J Hoopert) and CLARINET (App Jky K Treble) were slowly away.

KINGSTON’S IMAGE (App F Sendon) shifted ground rounding the home turn.

BOOM SHAKER (Jky J Pujolas) shifted out from the 200mtr to the winning post.

The winner BON ACHAT was swabbed.

Race 4 AVANCE CONDON GAYNDAH CUP 1900MTRS

SAMSUN (Jky J Hoopert) jumped awkwardly taking MIGHTY DEEARNE (Jky C Kearney) in onto PULL MY STRING (Jky J Pujolas)

MIGHTY DEEARNE (Jky C Kearney) which began to compound from the 800mtr and finished a distant last and was inspected by the Club Vet who reported the horse has an irregular heart rate.
Representatives of MIGHTY DEEARNE were instructed the horse is banned from racing and the results of an ECG must be given to Stewards before the horse can start again. Owner Mr Palmer advised Stewards he intends to retire the horse from racing.

The winner REGAL GARTER was swabbed.

Race 5 NEVILLE GORDON MEMORIAL CLASS 3 HCP 1400MTRS

MACHTIG PONOTEVICH (App K Treble) and RANCHO’S LOVE (Jky J Pojulos) dwelt at the start.
