As App A. Holt was indisposed due to illness stewards permitted rider changes as per the Stewards Race Day Summary.
Prior to the commencement of today’s meeting stewards inspected the track and found 3 small areas of concern, the first prior to the winning post, secondly on the home turn and thirdly at the 800m turn close to the inside running rail, which appeared to be softer in those sections of the track. Stewards did not believe it was necessary to downgrade the track as the areas were only small in area. The track manager advised there may be a problem with the irrigation in those areas.
