STEWARDS PANEL: Mr D.Macklyn, Mr P.Cooper

RACE 1: MAIDEN H'CAP – 1000mtrs – 3 Starters
Smooth Style (G Evans) was scratched at the barriers by stewards at 1.54 pm when the filly refused to be loaded. Prior to corrected weight being announced stewards ordered that all monies wagered on Smooth Style be refunded and ordered betting deductions of 27cents in the dollar on the face value of all win bets. Mr Pat Richardson trainer of Smooth Style was advised that the filly would be required to successfully pass a barrier trial before she could start again.
There were no racing incidents to report.

RACE 2: CLASS 3 H'CAP – 1000mtrs – 5 Starters
At the start Grey Commander (C Beets) jumped outwards and cannoned into Shadat (G Evans), Chess Piece (M Barnham) knuckled over and as a result was slow into stride.

RACE 3: CLASS 5 H'CAP – 1194mtrs – 4 Starters
At the start Exigency (C Beets) jumped outwards and cannoned into Bennihi (M Lehman).

RACE 4: Open H'CAP – 850mtrs – 5 Starters
Disco Bob (J Stephens) was scratched at the barriers by stewards on vet’s advice at 3.51pm after the gelding became fractious in the barriers. Prior to correct weight being announced stewards ordered that all monies wagered on Disco Bob be refunded and ordered betting deductions of 37 cents in the dollar on the face value of all win bets and 31 cents in the dollar on the face value of all place bets.
There were no racing incidents to report.

RACE 5: Class 1 H’CAP – 850mtrs – 8 Starters
At the start Sharlad (G Evans) and Green Lines (M Barnham) cannoned into each other. At about the 450mtr Fiery Gold (F Okawa) began to race erratically and was inclined to hang outwards rounding the home turn.
