RACE 1: CLASS B HANDICAP – 850M
1st: NEWSWORLD 2ND: CASUAL LINE 3RD MAGIC LUSTRE 4TH HULA EXPRESS
HULETTE was slow into stride.
MAGIC LUSTRE which was inclined to lay out making the home turn shifted out abruptly despite the riders efforts resulting in HULETTE being checked.

RACE 2: MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M
1st: SIR HOFMANN 2ND: KAAPTIVATING 3RD: ELECTRA BLUE 4TH: IWANT MY NAME BACK
BEE JAYS MAGIC which performed poorely and finished a long last was veted and no abnormalities were detected. Jockey W Schmidt stated that BEE JAYS MAGIC was inclined to hang in for the entire event, resulting in Jockey W Schmidt pulling the bit through the horses mouth.Trainer D Schultz will be advised that a vet certificate will be required before BEE JAYS MAGIC next race start.
SIR HOFFMANN on returning to scale kicked out and got his off side hind leg caught over the rail and was injured vet inspected and treated.
