Race 1 Class 2 Handicap – 1194 metres
1st SPY CHASE 2nd McLINTOCK 3rd SHOKUR 4th SIR ALISTAIR

DIATINE proved difficult to load.
DIATINE was slow into stride and finished well back.
The photo finish camera did work for Race 1.
Judges used their own observations and video evidence to confirm all placing’s and before correct weight was given the judges convened with all riders concerned.

Race 2 QTIS Maiden Plate (1) – 1000 metres
1st PRO’S HERO 2nd ALYCION 3rd ANOTHER TUNE 4th HAYHAB

Regal Tune was a late scratching at 9.35am. Stewards advised Trainer Lyn Horstman that a veterinary certificate would be required before staring again.
PRO’S HERO reared in the air as the gates opened.
ANOTHER TUNE raced wide around the home turn.
Over the concluding stages PRO’S HERO shifted in forcing ALYCION to be taken inwards. At a subsequent inquiry jockey Dennis Whitmore was reminded of his obligations when shifting ground. Stewards also advised apprentice jockey Luke Dillon to be more aware of what happening around him and his rights when being forced to shift ground.



Race 3 Class 5 Handicap – 1000 metres
1st LET’S RECONSIDER 2nd LORD GLENBURY 3rd VALHULLA 4th PARABLE

NOW MING reared as the gates opened.
OUR GIRL ANNIE raced wide throughout.
NOW MING raced wide rounding the home turn.
After entering the straight NOW MING shifted in forcing DIFFERENTIAL to taken inwards.


Race 4 QTIS Maiden Plate (2) – 1000 metres
1st FLASH FOR CASH 2nd WUNDASYN 3rd DODA 4th BALA NYE

HUNGRY HEART and CAILIN RUA were both slow into stride.
WUNDASYN raced wide throughout.



Race 5 Open Handicap – 1194 metres
1st SIT HEAR DEAR 2nd GREEN JACKET 3rd DREAMS OF WEALTH 4th IN COBARGO

After striking it’s off hind leg on the gate on the way to the barriers KING HAL was cleared to start by the veterinarian.
IN COBARGO was slow into stride.
KING HAL returned to the enclosure with blood coming from it’s off hind leg.


Race 6 Class B Handicap – 850 metres
1st ERROL STREET 2nd CRAIGLEA HEAVEN 3rd ZOOMERANG 4th TRINITY EXPRESS

MYSTERY GUN proved difficult to load and was fractious in the barriers.
ZOOMERANG knuckled over as the gates opened.
PRINCESS FROLIC jumped awkwardly.
BONALEAR failed to show any early speed.
TRINITY EXPRESS raced wide throughout.
ZOOMERANG raced wide around the home turn.
