CENSUN raced ungenerously during the early stages of the race.
DOWN THE LINE whilst having its first race start was inclined to hang out rounding the home turn.
ONLY ISSUE was slightly hampered at approx the 200m when DOWN THE LINE and DOGWOOD DANCER shifted ground.

RACE 2: COMBINED AGENTS/BRENNAN & CUMMINS & MACINTYRE MOTOR INN CLASS 2 HCP – 1000M.
TAIPAN RULER (NZ) was slow away.
RORY’S ROC jumped awkwardly.
MURPHY’S REPLY saddle slipped at approx the 800m giving the apprentice a difficult ride.
Time off 2.15 PM.
RACE 3: GDI ENGINEERING/GDI AUTO GLASS/TOMS TARPS & CAMPBELLS FUELS MAIDEN PLATE - 1400M.
SHE NEVER YIELDS was slow away.
SUPREME APPEAL was steadied when crowded by BUCKO’S BOY at approx the 1300m.
Time off 2.50 PM.
RACE 4: COMBINED HOTELIERS & GOONDIWINDI MOTEL CLASS B HCP – 1400M.
Master M Hicks of Apprentice S Galvin was given a warning for accepting rides two rides in the one race. Jockey P Clarke replaced S Galvin on I’M NO SAIN as no other apprentice was available.
OPPOSING VIEW (G Snowden) was a late scratching withdrawn by Stewards at 3.35pm when it dislodged its rider at the barrier prior to being loaded and completed a circuit of the course. Deductions of 23cents and 18cents from the face value of the ticket ($4.00).
VISIBLE STAR was slow away.
KOZMINSKY eased from the heels of I’M NO SAINT at approx 1300m when the pace in front steadied.
