General: JUST FAITH was cleared to race after galloping over 1000mtrs after suffering a bleeding attack on the 22-03-03.

Race 1 ROYAL HOTEL MAIDEN PLATE 850MTRS

As Jky A Butler was indisposed Stewards approved of App D Van Bekkum to ride ARIANNE GAL.
Jky A Butler was instructed to give a Doctors Certificate to Stewards before riding again,

STAR OF LUSCOMBE (Jky B Calkin) jumped awkwardly taking JATINAMEL JADE (Jky J Hoopert) out on to HARAGA (App A O’Brien).

VAIN ‘N’ RECKLESS (Jky S Bayliss) dwelt at the start.

Stewards inquired into an incident at the 200mtr mark where App Jky K Smith was dislodged from her mount HASTY ROYAL.
After hearing evidence from App K Smith (HASTY ROYAL), App A O’Brien (HARAGA). Jky T Unwin (MARKWAY COUNTY) and Jky J Hoopert (JATINAMEL JADE) and Stewards observation of the race it was established that HASTY ROYAL (App K Smith) got on to the heels of the tiring HARAGA (App A O’Brien) at the 200mtr mark hitting the inside running rail with App K Smith being dislodged from her mount. App K Smith was examined by an Ambulance Attendant and cleared to ride.

The winner AILEMA was swabbed

Race 2 JIGSAW PERSONNEL CLASS D HCP 850MTRS

Stewards approved of Jky B Calkin to replace Jky A Butler as the rider of ON SCREEN

Soon after the start JEWEL OF THE RANCH (Jky R Hancock) shifted out brushing CHATSWOOD CHASE (Jky T Unwin)

Race 3 STEWART TERRACE BUTCHERY CLASS5 HCP 1150MTRS

ALCO MICK (Jky B Calkin) was slowly away and was obliged to race wide in the early stage of the race

The winner IMPORTED PRINCE was swabbed.

Race 4 EXPRESS HYDRAULIC HANDICAP 1150MTRS

GOLDEN RUN (Jky J Hoopert) and CONNELLY (Jky B Calkin) were slowly away

Race 5 JOHN BUCKLEY ELECTRICAL MAIDEN PLATE 1500MTRS

THIS MAN CAN (App K Smith) broke through prior to the start and was quickly pulled up and took its place in the field.

TAMAWOOD ROAD (App H O’Hara) jumped outwardly taking DARBONNAIRE (Jky S Bayliss) out on to SOBROTH (Jky B Calkin)

Going out of the straight the first time the saddle on ROYAL BOX shifted placing Jky D Gill at a disadvantage for the remainder of the race

The winner THIS MAN CAN was swabbed.
