Race 1 PAT & MARIE NOLAN MAIDEN PLATE 850MTRS

SNAPPY DASHER (App D Van Bekkum) was withdrawn by Stewards at 12-55AM when the horse refused to go to the barriers rearing on three occasions dislodging its Rider. The Trainer of SNAPPY DASHER Mrs K Hill was advised the horse must successfully pass a Jump-Out before starting again. Deductions of 4c for a win and 6c for a place was announced on correct weight.

DAD’S CAMPAIGN (Jky D Gill) was slowly away.

BLU INTENT (Jky C Kearney) jumped inwardly on to AIRBORN ROSIE (Jky M Smith-Lester) resulting in Jky M Smith-Lester losing ground.

Race 2 COOLOOLA BLONDES CLASS A HCP 1000HCP

RULING PLANET (App D Van Bekkum) blundered on jumping away.

On returning to scale Jky M Dale the rider of EL FERIQUE placed third (3rd) lodged a protest against QUIET SMYTZER ridden by App M Rice second placed horse (2nd) and the winner THIS MAN CAN ridden by App K Cunningham claiming interference soon after the start. App M Rice the rider of second (2nd) placed horse QUIET SMYTZER lodged a protest against the winner THIS MAN CAN ridden by App K Cunningham claiming interference soon after the start. After hearing evidence from all parties and viewing the video Stewards dismissed both protest claiming App K Cunningham mount had jumped awkwardly but the degree of interference had no bearing on the judges final placing.

The winner THIS MAN CAN was swabbed.

Race 3 WIDE BAY FEEDLOT CLASS 4 HCP 1000MTRS

AMUN UMUN (App A Gain) was slowly away.

JUST FAITH (Jky M Dale) shifted ground on the 850mtr corner and made contact with NEIGH HIGH (App D Van Bekkum)

App F Sendon the rider of NEW GALITY accidentally dropped his whip at the 100mtr mark.

JUST FAITH returned to the enclosure with blood visible in both nostrils. As this is the second (2nd) bleed Trainer Mrs G Harrison was advised the horse is banned from racing for life. JUST FAITH was swabbed

Race 4 SO LEAN, SO TENDER CLASS 2 HCP 1150MTRS

ROSS WILLIAM (App H O’Hara) was restless in the barriers and broke through prior to the start but was pulled up soon after and took its place in the field.

HATTA’S ROSE (App K Tremble) was slowly away

SHOW GOLD (App K Cunningham) jumped outwardly taking ROSS WILLIAM (App H O’Hara) out onto STEALTHY (Jky S Bayliss) which resulted in Jky Bayliss having to ease.

Shortly after passing the 1000mtr mark THE RED RECRUIT (App D Van Bekkum) got onto the heels of PHAROS DANCER (Jky M Smith-Lester).

Race 5 CHEF’S PARTNER QTIS MAIDEN MAIDEN PLATE 1150MTRS

PRINCESS SUSIE (Jky R Kerwin) became restless in the barriers rearing up and being caught under the rear gates of the barriers. This horse was declared a late scratching by Stewards acting on the advice of the Club Vet. The Trainer of PRINCESS SUSIE Mrs A Jeynes was instructed the horse must successfully pass a Jump-Out before starting again. Deductions of 4c for a win and 5c for a place was announced on correct weight.

VAL CALAIS (App K Cunningham) was restless in the barriers and was inspected by the Club Vet and allowed to start.

BONNYVILLE (App M Rice) jumped outwardly making contact with VAL CALAIS (App K Cunningham).

BONNYVILLE (App M Rice) raced greenly in the early stage of the race and shifted ground at the 1000mtr mark taking DANCING TRIO (App D Van Bekkum) wider on the track. The Trainer of BONNYVILLE Mr T Bourke was advised a warning is placed on this horse for racing manners.

The winner LEICA DESERT was swabbed

Race 6 NOLAN MEATS MUSTER CUP 1600MTRS

TRAILER (App M Rice) was slowly away.

SLEEPY POET (App Z Landry) and AIR WAR (Jky D Evans) came together on jumping away.

Passing the winning post the first time HOODED GEM ridden by App O'Hara has shifted in momentarily causing tightening to PRIVATE BRIEFING (Jky D Gill) and TRIPLE MAC (App F Sendon) App H O’Hara was instructed to exercise care in future race rides.

PRIVATE BRIEFING (Jky D Gill) shifted ground on the home turn.

Stewards questioned App Z Landry the rider of SLEEPY POET regarding the performance in this race. App Landry stated she believed the horse did not handle the soft sand surface and did not stretch out. Stewards noted this explanation.
