SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS:

Prior to the running of race two apprentice P Randall advised stewards that he would be unable to take full advantage of his three kilogram claim in race two on DOWN THE LINE and race five FLAMING PROMISE. After taking evidence from apprentice P Randall, M Hicks, the trainer of FLAMING PROMISE and DOWN THE LINE and also the master apprentice P Randall stewards accepted apprentice P Randall’s explanation and trainer M Hicks request for him to fulfil both engagements, apprentice P Randall was nonetheless reprimanded under AR 92(12).

Race 1: SO LEAN SO TENDER MAIDEN PLATE – 850M.
1st – TOOLEBUC 2nd – DELIGHTFUL BITE 3rd – PRESERVATION 4th – STORM MINSREL

Both SOUTHERN SOUND (J Hoopert) and VICUNA (C Kearney) were slow to begin.

DUSTY ROSE (K Smith) was tightened for room at the start by RIPARITA (S Bogenhuber) which jumped in and TOOLBUC (B Thomson) which jumped out.

MIDNIGHT DENNIS (M Radecker) began awkwardly.

Both RIPARITA (S Bobenhuber) and DUSTY ROSE (K Smith) raced wide throughout the event.



Race 2: PRIVATE SELECTION CLASS 2 H’CAP – 850M.
1st – TENT 2nd – ROADIE RAN 3rd – ACAPULCO 4th – TIME TO WATCH

RUBYFAIR (S Bogenhuber) stood in the barriers refusing to jump taking no part in the race.
After taking evidence from Mr Bailey the starter, K Hill the trainer of RUBYFAIR and apprentice S Bogenhuber, RUBYFAIR was declared a definite starter and correct weight was declared.
Trainer K Hill was advised that RUBYFAIR must compete in an official trial and a jump out to steward’s satisfaction prior to the mare’s next start.

DIRECTIONAL (K Smith) raced wide from the 400m.

Race 3: DELIVERING PLEASURE MEAT MOMENTS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE - 1150M.
1st – LIKAZYRTEC 2nd – ANNIES ATTITUDE 3rd – STAR CHARIOT 4th – CEEABA DANCER

Both OUR ALLEY and CRAIGLEA SPY were declared late scratchings at 2.39pm on vets advice after CRAIGLEA SPY became fractious in the barriers and become cast striking OUR ALLEY which was positioned next to CRAIGLEA SPY. All monies invested on OUR ALLEY and CRAIGLEA SPY were ordered to be refunded and on the on the announcement of correct weight, all bets made prior to the withdrawal’s were ordered to be paid less 29 cents in the dollar on the face value of all win bets and 26 cents in the dollar on the face value of all place bets.
D Peoples the trainer of CRAIGLEA SPY was advised that the gelding must pass a further barrier certificate prior to its next start.

CEEABA DANCER (S Bogenhuber) began awkwardly losing ground.

KALINGA IVOR (T Huxham) raced wide throughout the event.

Race 4: MARY RIVER PRIME CLASS B H’CAP – 1150M.
1st – STAR OF LUSCOMBE 2nd – ROOM WITH A VIEW 3rd – FEAR THE COUNT 4th – MIFFIE MAE

HATTA’S ROSE (S Bogenhuber) was slow to begin.

ROOM WITH A VIEW began awkwardly causing rider M Dale to hit his knee on the barrier gate and then raced wide throughout the race.

GIRL HUNTER (J Hoopert) began awkwardly and shifted in abruptly, then hung out for a short distance having to be steadied off heels near the 1000m.

Rider M Dale was inspected by the clubs ambulance officers after the event and was stood down for the remainder of the meeting. M Dale was advised a medical certificate would be required prior to his next riding engagement.





Race 5: CRAIGLEA STUD/MARR’S FURNITURE REMOVALS BURNETT TO THE BEACH CLASS 5 – 1150M.
1st – CASH MISTRESS 2nd – ADDICTED LADY 3rd - MANSWORD 4th – DESERT SIMBA

B Thomson replaced M Dale as the rider of INTER THE FRAY.

CRAIGLEA KNIGHT was fractious in the parade yard dislodging apprentice M Price giving her a harmless fall. CRAIGLEA KNIGHT was inspected by the clubs veterinary surgeon prior to the start and passed fit to start.

FLAMING PROMISE (P Randall) was slow to begin.


Race 6: NOLAN MEATS GYMPIE MUSTER CUP H’CAP – 1600M.
1st – RANGERS 2nd – STAEL A MARCH 3rd – ADILLO ADILLO 4th - LE CHASSEUR

KANES CROSSING (T Huxham) began awkwardly causing apprentice T Huxham to lose his near side iron being unable to regather it until leaving the 1500m which resulted in that gelding racing wide before assuming the lead near the 1000m.
