THE JOKE (App S Holcombe) jumped awkwardly.
ROYAL SOLAIR (Jky N Spencer) and LORD SPARROW (Jky B Thompson) traveled wide in the early and middle stages of the race.
CLEO KEVAL (App O Turpin) shifted ground rounding the 850mtr corner and commenced to race 3 wide through out the race.
App O Turpin required attention from the Ambulance Attendant due to sand in his eyes.
App O Turpin was cleared to ride after receiving attention from the Ambulance Attendant.
The winner BUCKLEY’S AN NONE was swabbed.
Race 2 KEN FERRES BOOKMAKER MAIDEN PLATE 1000MTR
(1) AIMUP (2) THE HIGHEST JUMP (3) VICUNA (4) SARATOGA FAME
App N Summers was dislodged from MIDNIGHT ZEPHYR en route to the barriers. App Summers was caught up in the N/S stirrup for a short time. App Summers was checked by the Ambulance Attendant and allowed to ride.
Trainer Mr B Gill was instructed the filly must pass a barrier trial prior to starting again.
VICUNA (Jky D Van Bekkum) GYPSY’S PRIDE (Jky B Thompson) and MIDNIGHT ZEPHYR (App N Summers) were all slowly away.
The winner AIMUP was swabbed
Race 3 RAILWAY HOTEL MAIDEN PLATE 1150MTRS

PHOENIX WAY was presented to the enclosure with a Apple Mouth Bit in the geldings mouth. Trainer Mr B Gill was informed this type of bit is banned and such ban was notified in the July 2006 Racing Magazine. Mr Gill stated he did not have another bit/bridle with him and was allowed the use such bit. At a further inquiry Mr Gill stated he was unaware of the ban on this type of bit and was warned not to use such bit again.
Mr Gill was further advised to read changes in the Racing Magazine. (integrity operations news)
MINTO’S GRAND (Jky B Thompson, JACKADIAN (Jky D Van Bekkum) and TINYMOUNTAIN (Jky C Kearney) were slowly away
Rounding the 850mtr corner PHOENIX WAY (App N Summers) began to race unkindly shifting out taking MINTO’S GRAND (Jky B Thompson) wider on the track
Trainer Mr B Gill was instructed a warning is place on PHOENIX WAY for the geldings racing manners.
Approaching the 600mtr EVORG (Jky B Johnson) has shifted in brushing KYSSAGA (App O Turpin)

Race 4 I.P.A. PERSONNEL CLASS 4 HCP 1150MTRS

App O Turpin the rider of SLERCH was dislodged when the gelding blundered badly on jumping away. App Turpin landed on his right shoulder and was hit on the right leg by ANNSMAN.
App Turpin was checked by the Ambulance Attendant who advised Stewards App Turpin had bruising to his right leg. App Turpin was instructed a Medical Certificate must be given to Stewards prior to riding again.
The winner ANNSMAN was swabbed.
Race 5 SHEPHERD’S RETRAVISION HCP 1150MTRS
(1) UNITE AND PROSPER (2) WHAT A LANDING (3) LUCKY LAD (4) ADDICTED LADY
CRAIGLEA BELLE (Jky N Spencer) and LORD CLINTON (Jky B Thompson) raced wide in the early stage of the race.
The winner UNITE AND PROSPER was swabbed.
