General: Stewards declared IGLESIASTIC (race 2) a late scratching at 10-30AM after Trainer Mr M Lehmann contacted Gympie Turf Club at 9-05AM to advise due to a serious road accident at Boroeen, with the road expected to be closed for about 3hrs he would be unable to arrive at Gympie for race 2.

Race 1 RAINE & HORNE REAL ESTATE QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 850MTRS
(1) HIGHWAY ONE (2) QUESTIFY (3) GRAIGLEA TUNES (4) SALUTE THE JUDGE

CRAIGLEA TUNES (Jky D Gill) and FORBIDDEN FLOWER (App S Kennedy) made heavy contact on jumping away losing ground.

MISTY PEARL (Jky Z Landry) was tightened between KINDROON (App J Letherby) and QUESTIFY (Jky H hamada) both of which jumped awkwardly.

KINDROON (App J Letherby) raced wide through out the race.
The winner HIGHWAY ONE was swabbed

Race 2 EPICENTRE PTY LTD CLASS B HCP 1000MTRS
(1) CRAIGLEA CHEVY (2) FLAMINGO LIL (3) MACHI (4) FRANCISCAN FRIAR

SPENIT (App J Letherby) threw its head up on jumping away losing ground.

App G Butler the rider MACHI requested to view the video of the race round the home turn prior to correct weight. After viewing the video in the company of his master Mr T Thomas, App Butler declined to lodge an objection.
The winner CRAIGLEA CHEVY was swabbed.

Race 3 GYMPIE REGIONAL REALTY CLASS 3 HCP 1465MTR
(1) RED ROLLER (2) DISASTROUS (3) SEEKAWINNER (4) STEORRA

SHADDAR (Jky R Hancock) reared slightly soon after being placed in the barrier dislodging one of the rear gates on barrier 6. SHADDAR was inspected by the Club Vet and passed to start. Stewards ordered all runners from barrier 6 be placed one out. Stewards informed the starter Mr M Bailey to repair the rear gate prior to the next race.

RED ROLLER (App T Dicey) dipped on jumping away.

Stewards inquired into an incident soon after passing the winning post the first time where RISING STORM (Jky L Appo) had to ease off CRAIGLEA RELIC (Jky D Gill) and SEEKAWINNER (App S Kennedy). Jky Appo stated approaching the winning post the first time he took hold of RISING STORM to ease when the gelding refused to settle despite his strong effort , racing up onto the heel of CRAIGLEA RELIC and SEEKAWINNER. Trainer Mr S Thomas agreed with the comments made by Jky L Appo and advised Stewards it is the intention of the owners to retire the gelding from racing.

The winner RED ROLLER was swabbed.

Race 4 BILLY’S FOOD BOOZE & BOOGIE MAIDEN PLATE 1150MTRS
(1) NAKAMURA HIROFUMI (2) SWIFT CASH (3) CRAIGLEA RUBY (4) SEVEN DWARF’S

Starter Mr M Bailey reported the rear gate on barrier is fixed and working correctly.

PEEP (App S Kennedy) dipped badly on jumping away losing ground.

Shortly after entering the straight MANIHI FREEZE (Jky R Hancock) has rolled in taking NOBODY’S FRIEND (App G Bulter) in onto SADDLERS STORM (Jky D Gill). Jky R Hancock was instructed to exercise more care in future race rides.

The winner NAKAMURA HIROFUMI was swabbed.

Race 5 ALL WEATHER HOMES OPEN HCP 1150MTRS
(1) LEVERAGE (2) PICKASTAR (3) HAYILEBELLE (4) GRIFFIN GATE

ANDURILL (Jky D Van Bekkum) jumped inwardly taking LIKAZYRTEC (Jky D Gill) in onto HAYILEBELLE (Jky G Auckram).

LEVERAGE (Jky R Hancock) dwelt at the start.

PICKASTAR (App T Dicey) shifted ground when ridden out at the 200mtr mark.

The winner LEVERAGE was swabbed.
